Daniel J. Hansen, DO

Dr. Hansen is simply the best. I have been to him several times through the years, and he has always taken excellent care of me. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.

I really appreciate Dr. Hansen. I feel he listens to my concerns, and gives me a variety of treatments we could try. I don't feel rushed at their office. He takes the time to answer my questions. I haven't felt pressured to do some treatments that I'm not comfortable with, like with my other dermatologist in the past. I've seen good results too. He's also been patient with me when I have to bring my toddler son. The office is a positive environment, the ladies at the front are kind and professional. I love that you can actually get into see him within a few weeks! Other dermatologist in the area are months out.

Dr. Hansen was nice enough, but it felt more like a cattle drive than an appointment. He spoke very quickly and seemed to be hurrying everything along. He got irritated when my husband didn't want to "zap" non-harmful skin tags off. He was quite pushy about getting them zapped. Either he enjoys that part of his job the most, or he really likes charging his patients extra. The appointment lasted a whole ten minutes. When asking for a prescription of a known foot condition, the doctor laughed in my husband's face, and classified it as a form of eczema that will "clear right up." My father has the same condition. They both lived in Brazil for two years and contracted the foot condition. It does not go away. It can be managed and controlled with the right medication, but it doesn't go away. It's not exactly a well-known condition, so I don't fault him for not knowing what it was, but I was furious that he laughed and talked condescendingly to my husband the whole time. Not pleased with this doctor.

My family has been going to Dr. Hansen for 10+ years. Dr. Hansen found Skin Cancer on my husband, in which was taken care of. He is a professional Dermatologist. His personality is awesome!!! The Office & Assistant staff are always very friendly & professional as well. I highly recommend this office!!

Does unnecessary procedures then bills exorbitant amounts. They removed a freckle that had been there my husband's entire life. They didn't show him what they were removing. They didn't tell us the cost of the procedure and then charged us $400. Insurance only covered $50, that's how unnecessary it was. I called numerous times disputing the bill. When the person in charge finally got back to me regarding my dispute they were very rude and condescending and we came to an impasse. I paid the bill that day. A few days later received a call from them that they returned my payment and I had to pay a collection agency. Received a letter today stating that my entire family is not welcome at their office. Hope others take heed. Avoid this QUACK.

Dr.Hansen is great! I'm grateful for his expertise and knowledge.
