Haven Day Spa

Normally I have pretty good massages at Haven Spa. But it was incredibly loud today. I had to constantly remind my masseuse to add pressure (deep massage) and she left the room several times to answer the phone. I’ll give it another chance and most likely edit my review but as a regular customer and good tipper, I was quite disappointed today.

7 years ago I gave a rating of five stars. I had to change it I only gave three stars because the massage was good but I paid $90 and 15% of that is 13.50. I handed the girl $15 and she said to me "didn't you like the massage?"making me feel very uncomfortable which kind of ruined the massage. I handed her another $5 bill and she still looked upset. I will definitely be looking for another place.

I’ve been here a couple of times now in the past month. The receptionist was friendly, and the place is clean and nice enough. The first time with Lisa and the second time I think her name was Mary. Both messages were very good, and this place is a massage-only establishment. Both Lisa and Mary were receptive and responsive to my feedback, about what I wanted, and are very skilled. Mary, in particular, really dug in and got the tough spots on my shoulders and neck. I would recommend.

As much as I am not opposed to the quality of the massages offered here, I absolutely am opposed to being pressured to tip MORE. I gave a 15% tip and was guilted with a "you know she works hard, tip more. That’s not enough". I couldn’t believe it. 3 women in front of me and the one at reception not asking, but telling me to tip more. I explained tips are optional and that I could tip $0 if I wanted. I left my 15% tip and told them I shall not be returning. Absolutely despicable customer service. Not okay.

❤❤❤ THIS WAS MY 1ST VISIT TO HAVEN AND IT'S DEFINITELY THE START OF A NEW RELATIONSHIP. I HAD THE MOST RELAXING, DEEP TISSUE STONE MASSAGE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD. I LOVE THE STAFF AND HOW PROFESSIONAL THEY ARE. THE DAILY SPECIAL WAS THE ICING ON MY BIRTHDAY CAKE. THE OWNER WAS VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY, HE AND HIS STAFF SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME WHICH WAS VERY SPECIAL. THIS IS A GREAT BUSINESS AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO A LONG TIME RELATIONSHIP HERE, THANKS FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY GIFT GREAT, YOU GET 👍👍👍 FOR ME.

2nd time after a 4 yr break and now I remember why I don’t want to go back. I pretty much got a back rub for one hr plus hot stone I never asked for after booking a deep tissue massage with someone with strong hands. I asked the masseuse to use more pressure but it happened for a few minutes then she got tired or lazy. I really don’t think she knows where the pressure points are or how to feel for knots. Total waste of time and money.

This may have been one of the best massages I have ever had. 75 minutes and it was the perfect combination of deep tissue and relaxing massage followed with the hot stones at the end. Highly recommend!! Well worth the money and will definitely go back if I’m in the area again.
