They were very caring, very thorough, took their time and checked me all over. They were very nice they seemed like they were in a good mood even though they were busy they took care of my psoriasis problem right away and got me a prescription I'm now on my way to a full recovery I hope I just started what a great place I really felt these people genuinely were concerned about me I haven't felt that way at a doctor's office in a long time I hate my psoriasis and they're going to help me 10 Stars if I could give it!
I do not believe I could have received better care in the treatment of my sun-damaged skin. I was impressed with the professionalism and genuine interest by the entire staff. I will recommend, without any reservation, this facility to anyone who requires Mohs micrographic surgery. They were extremely busy the day of my procedure, but made me feel like my treatment was their most important concern.
I won’t be back. U of R dermatology, Dr Sylvana Adly’s office staff is unethical, lazy, and cost me $142 out of pocket expense after an office visit that they billed incorrectly. I made a preventive skin care screening visit in May, this benefit is covered at 100% per my medical insurance. I told them this when I made the appointment, when I checked in for the appointment, when I checked out for the appointment, and they still sent the incorrect service code to billing, their office personnel Casey & Jennifer refused to correct it after several attempts following up with their office. They provided no resolution. I called in March to make an appointment to get an annual skin care check. I have never had one before have zero concerns with my skin, however I decided to take advantage of my insurance companies 100% coverage of annual preventive skincare check to prevent skin cancer. I called U of R dermatology and asked the receptionist for this specific service - PREVENTIVE cancer screening check of my skin for moles. I said my insurance covers at 100% so I want to make sure I’m clear. she said ok and made an appointment- on the day of the appointment I arrived checked in and told the receptionist I was here for my preventive skin care check & to make sure my appointment was billed correctly. Her response was "I don’t handle the billing, you have to tell them that at check out" After the -10 minute appointment was over, the doctor said everything looked normal. at check out I again told the "check out" person of my insurance coverage and they said "ok." A few weeks later I received a bill for the full price of the service $142. I called my insurance and they said U of R billed the service as "office visit" and they needed to resubmit as as "preventive" for the service to be covered at 100%. I called U or R billing and Britney said "Dr Sylvana Adlys office billed it as "office visit, you’ll Have to call them we can correct if they resubmit it to billing with the preventive code I can rebill Aetna." I called dr Adlys office, spoke to Casey, went through the whole story with her and she said they would correct it. The next month I got the repeat bill for $142, I called again and this time was directed to office manager named "Jennifer" go though the whole story for a 4th time, she gave me the run around, now saying "they don’t do preventive services-". I said "Why wouldn’t you have advised me of this when I made the appointment or at check in???" I would have not have went forward with the appointment! if you don’t do it then why did your office staff make my appointment?" She didn’t care. I requested they give me the appointment as a courtesy due to their mistake. Their mistake was at at my expense. She said they would call back. A week later I was called by U of R billing asking for $142 payment. I went through the story again ( the 5th time!!). They said I could dispute it by sending in a letter, but they couldn’t guarantee the delay of waiting for a response would not put the bill into Collections because it was getting close to 90 days. I had no choice but to pay the bill or risk affecting my credit. I paid the bill. This staff is unprofessional & unethical. , I don’t recommend anyone going there. Very poor standards for their office staff.
i brought my 12 mo old son here for a rash after being referred by our pediatrician. we waited for over an hour to see a doctor who i could barely understand and who could not give me any answers. the office was hot, crowed and looked as if squatters had previously occupied the place. i will never ever go there again.
My appt.. was 9:15 I did not get seen to 10:30...That is crazy the excuse was she was sick well My time is important and I lost business because she didn't inform me that she was sick and had to sit down and eat because she felt dizzy you think she would of told some of her employees that were sitting around doing nothing to tell just to reschedule or at least compensate us somehow for my time lost from work ...I then asked to at least wave the co pay I thought that was the least she could do because ....of her tardiness ...listen I don't get paid until I get to work same for this Dr....TERRIBLE!
Excellent professional environment. My apt was quick and no waiting. They offer phototherapy here as well.
Nice!
