My visit here was honestly disappointing. The first appointment lasted barely five minutes, cost $120, and ended with the doctor telling me to book another visit for a simple five-minute procedure. When I returned, the diagnosis had completely changed. The procedure felt rushed, and I was sent home without a single word about aftercare — no guidance, no follow-up. Later, I found out my biopsy was sent to an outside lab that billed nearly $800, without any discussion or consent beforehand. Weeks have passed, and I still haven’t received a clear explanation or the actual results. The whole experience gave me the impression that patient communication and care come second to billing efficiency. It’s unfortunate, because trust is supposed to be the foundation of any medical practice. I’d strongly recommend asking every possible question up front before agreeing to anything here.

Catherine is a highly professional and serious Dermatologist. She really cares and is truely an expert on the skin. The staff is hard working and very professional as well. The clinic itself is very busy because it is in high demand. Always talk to your insurance provider before you commit to dermatology work, there is often times a misunderstanding as to what is covered by your insurance and it is not always information that is available by the dermatology clinic, this is not their fault.

Love this office! They answer the phone and it's easy to make and get an appointment within a few days to a week. Everyone is nice and easy to talk to. I see Catherine. She is always friendly and wonderful and takes time to listen to and solve problems. She gives HONEST feedback and doesn't try to sell you expensive treatments that won't work for you. If she thinks you may be a good candidate for a treatment, she will let you know. A great place to come for all your dermatology needs.

Dr Petrin has been a great dermatologist for our entire family. We have been at his practice for more than 10 years now, highly recommend him!

The staff that you first run into sets the mood. And they are nice, fast, but not dismissive. A fine line of efficiency and being social. They were able to do both. Dr. Petrin and the assistant that were in the room with me, (I’m sorry I forgot her name, she was GREAT), have a fun sense of humor and obviously work well together. They seem to "read a room" well, (as I was a bit tense about a potential issue that concerned me). All was well, and I will be scheduling a follow up. While I do live in Puyallup, I do find that Petrin Dermatology is well worth the drive. I have been seeing them for at least 15 years.

I am first and foremost so pleased to see the diversity of your staff. That in itself tells me you are a loving, caring person. As for my exam. I need a wheel chair to get to appointments. Dr. Petrin did not ask me to get up on the exam table, but took care of my exam as I sat in the wheel chair. What a relief! The total time I spent, from entering the office to leaving was less than one half hour. Phenomenal! Thank you for a great experience. Dallas Pasley

Very detailed exam as always, staff is excellent. Two shots were given with zero pain. I have been seeing Dr Petrin for years, he has my trust and confidence. I live in MASON WA and still drive 3 1/2 hours to see him.
