Dr Athalye saved my life. She biopsied a melanoma that my previous dermotologist ignored. She called me immediately with the results (despite a three day weekend holiday) letting me know exactly what it was. If you have ever lost someone in your family to melanoma, it is not easy to wait patiently for this information. So she not only handled the extraction well but was quick to give me the results. The staff in the practice are terrific as well.

This was our first appointment with O.C. Dermatology. Our previous doctor retired and we wanted to find a replacement. We provided our records from our previous doctor and set up a scheduled appointment for my wife and I. While we we were meeting with their staff, Dr. Athalye looked at a spot on my lower leg and thought it should be biopsies, which she did while we were there. She and her staff made us feel welcome and I was glad that we have found them. I feel that our first impression was quite positive.
