I’ve been trying to get ahold of Dr. Burroughs for 4 days. I’ve left messages on their voicemail with no response. Explaining a medication that my son had to stop when he was admitted to the hospital. I was told to contact his Dermatologist asap. But no response. I live in Union City so I guess I’ll have to make a trip to his office. So I can get help.

Do not choose Beth Cowan's gynecologist department. Despite the doctor's impressive credentials, my experience was disappointing. I visited for urgent concerns, expecting to meet Dr. Cowan but was attended to by her assistant. They assured me my tests would be billed under women's health and covered by insurance, but that didn't happen. Even the video visit for test results was with the assistant, not the doctor. It's unfair when you expect to see the doctor for your concerns and end up with just an assistant. The billing issue also means I have to pay for services that should have been covered. I strongly advise against this place and would not recommend this gynecologist to anyone. Additionally, the main concern with this office is that they are not transparent in billing and you will likely never see the doctor for your concerns!!

My son had been coming here for his food allergy since 2017. Every year they’ve sent a new epi pen prescription to our pharmacy whether he’s seen or not. His last appointment was 2022 for skin reaction to food allergens. Last week they sent out a prescription for a renewal but the pharmacy said the brand had to be different so they emailed, called and faxed to get the correct prescription. I called, left voicemails, wrote text messages for over a week to get a reply because a peanut allergy without a current pen is terrifying. No reply. None at all. I came in person today to get a response and the lady at the desk was working with the pharmacy when the owner (I guess new owner) comes out and says they are no longer an allergy clinic and are not able to help me. What? When did you communicate to your patients that you are no longer an allergy clinic when that’s in your title and you never told me? She said I had not brought my son since 2022. True but you prescribed his medication up now. How does that happen? She said I yelled at her staff and because of that they would renew my prescription unless she stopped it. Yelled? They never even replied to me and I came in in peace. She then walks me next door to a pediatrician who was as confused as I was as to why she was bringing me. I think she was looking for a way to get rid of me. She leaves me with him and I explain I already have a pediatrician and she just told me she’s not doing allergy and he was in disbelief saying he just referred someone to them for allergy. He just found out through me they don’t do allergy patients. He suggested I speak to my pediatrician which I did right away and we are good with our prescription now. But the lack of communication and accountability from this place with something such as a life threatening allergy is outstanding in the worst way. Please tell your years long patients if you no longer provide a service or don’t just prescribe if you no longer have us as patients

Dr. Beth Cowan is my obgyn and I recently delivered my first baby under her care. She’s very caring and easily reachable for any questions or concerns. Her physician assistant Kelly is amazing too! She managed most of visits and guided me throughout my pregnancy. Would highly recommend Dr. Beth Cowan!

I've been going here for over 16 years. I love my Doctors. Dr. Beth Cowan has always taken great care if me above and beyond! And the same with Dr. Burroughs they are both extremely caring and listen to you. I feel very respected. I really like the new front desk/advice nurse she's really awesome and caring as well! Thank you All

I’m writing hoping someone can finally help us. The pharmacy and I have tried calling and leaving messages, faxes etc for over a week to get my son’s epi pen prescription renewed. His is expired and the matter is serious and he can’t begin his school year without it. This besides the fact of a life threatening allergy without the medication needed. I’m so disappointed at the lack of attention from a clinic we have been part of for over 7 years. I’ve never seen this level of disregard for a patient. It is time to find someone new for us. Something changed here and this is no longer the place it used to be

I transferred my allergy shots and care over here. Everyone in the staff is extremely friendly and very involved in my care. They are always willing to fit me in the schedule if I need anything or for my shots even if they have a busier day. They watch me very closely to ensure I don’t have any reactions to my shots along with ensuring I don’t have bad allergy days! They are always willing to answer my calls/questions. I’ve never had such personable Drs. Transfer your allergy care here I promise you will not regret it! They also know exactly who I am when I come in! I’m not just a random patient to a Dr who looks at a chart before seeing me!
