Dr. Ackerman is the most extremely intelligent knowledgeable dermatologist physician I have ever come across. I have been in healthcare for as a nurse and as a provider for 20 years. She took care of me and gave me hope with diagnosing me snd treating , when so many other providers could not. Dermatology is not just Botox and lasers and mole checks. One of the best doctors I have ever had! Dr. Ackerman spends time with me, talks with, makes sure all of my concerns are addressed. She thinks thoughtfully about my treatment and makes sure that it is working and if it isn't she rethinks things. She is an amazing doctor.

I was so impressed and happy with Dr. Ackerman. One of the best Doctors. I was surprised and saddened that all my information was deleted and I had to start over as a new patient because I hadn't seen her in 5 years. I am not a new patient! Not the way to treat your patients no matter how wonderful you are...

I’ve seen Dr Ackerman for about 15 years and have a file that takes up an entire cabinet. I’m a 75 year old retired male, and I believe I’m alive now only because she is the best diagnostician I’ve ever encountered. She is a great doctor—she just happens to specialize in dermatology. I also believe my wife is alive because she happened to go in with me while she was in the midst of an extended medical crisis and in 5 minutes she successfully diagnosed my wife’s condition that all her other doctors had missed. She’s a godsend.

Dr. Ackerman and staff are wonderful. She never makes me feel rushed during the appointment. She always makes sure I understand the reason for each medication in detail. Definitely recommend.

The best doctor I’ve ever been to. She genuinely cares not just about your Derm needs, but about you as a person. One time I left an appointment and about an hour later she called me because she had thought of an extra solution to the problem I came in about - I’ve never had another provider do anything close to that! She’s a delight to be around and I feel so lucky to have her as my Derm! Plus she’s just a wiz kid, no one is more knowledgeable and she’ll stick with you until a solution is found!

Best doctor I ever had. Diagnosed with an auto immune disease that she knew right off. Had been to another Doctor and diagnosed wrong so ended up in hospital. Treats the whole person and is compassionate about what you are going thru. If you are looking for someone who gives a dam, she is the one. Dermatology is her specialty so go to the best.
