Walking into Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Specialists, I was immediately impressed by how clean and spacious the office was, with plenty of comfortable seating. As a new patient, the check-in process was quick and modern — I just provided my insurance and ID, then completed my forms digitally on an iPad. I really appreciated that most of my basic information was already filled in, so I didn’t have to write my name and address multiple times. I was actually taken back before my appointment time, which was a pleasant surprise. The doctor’s assistant was very professional and efficient, and Dr. Ashlee Paknis came in within 10 minutes. The entire visit, from check-in to checkout, took less than 40 minutes! Overall, it was a smooth, professional, and well-organized experience. I would definitely return for any future dermatology needs.

If you are someone who’s too sensitive with brutal honesty then don’t come here!! I came to my appointment around 8:30ish when I was booked for 9:20 I came with a few concerns about my moles, jowlish chubby cheeks full of rosacea, hair shedding and thinning, dark spots and for hair removal. Immediately met with the sweetest receptionist she is there all alone which I don’t know how she can handle check in and check out but it all went in smoothly. Shortly after the nurse called me in she was so sweet she asked why I came in for I did get super shy bc it’s not rlly easy talking abt your insecurities openly but she made me feel comfortable and called me beautiful which meant sm to me. I hope I get her again in my next visit. My previous dermatologist had wanted me to go on Accutane for my discoloration and rosacea, but I had searched up about the side effects and the long term damage it could do and I decided to go to Papastavros since she’s board certified for 2nd opinion or for her to just tell me what to use. When the doctor came in she asked and I told her all of my concerns she checked and answered amazingly as for my cheeks I didn’t bother asking her for the Accutane since it’s something I didn’t wanna get on either she sent me a cream for my rosacea. Answered all of my questions I asked her about the jowls immediately she looked at me like I asked a dumb question she answered me saying "you don’t have jowls you have skin you’re literally 19" which obviously if you’re sensitive to someone telling you off you’ll get offended but I actually liked that she was honest and not afraid to tell me the truth on how it rlly is. Our insecurities lead us to go to extreme measures but at what cost yk. I asked abt any at home laser removal machines (which we’ve all seen) she was like "Garbage don’t even try it’ll burn your skin" which I also truly believe. I love how brutally honest she was with me bc had she said "no honey don’t do that" I probably would’ve still done it anyways.😭 In conclusion this is honestly one of the best dermatology offices ever. Will most definitely switch here from now on. 100/10 service checkout was super quick and amazing thank you to all the staff and Dr. Looking forward to my recheck.

Saw Dr. Vassiliki Papastavros twice already. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. Had two biopsies and happy with results. Wait time was good and staff were friendly. Only wish there was an online portal but the staff are good with calling about results right away. My husband saw the PA and was happy with his care too

Dr. Papastavros at Hollywood dermatology is literally the best ever. She is so patient, knowledge and competent. She is the only doctor I trust and want to take care of me. She was there to treat my pre cancer in January of last year and guided me the entire way. 10/10!

Dr. Papastavros has wonderful bedside manner. She went above her usual practices to assist with the resolution of my concerns. This shows how caring and committed she is to resolving patient matters. Highly recommend.

This office has been the most pleasant doctors office I’ve experienced. Very quick very kind ladies. Both Dr Papastavros and her PA Ashlee are very engaging and helpful. Everyone here offers very pleasant customer service.
