There are not enough words to adequately express my gratitude for my exceptional experience at Dynasty Derm in Pasadena. Dr. Dovigi saw me promptly to examine a suspicious skin lesion, did a biopsy and called me to confirm lab results were positive for a carcinoma . I was booked just as quickly with Dr. Joanna Chan who performed an incredible MOH’s procedure with expertise , kindness, and reassurance . The resulting wound after margins were clear was closed with an exquisite technique (in a very sensitive area). My scar has already faded significantly after just 7 weeks and will likely be invisible . Most importantly I am healthy. I also used an excellent scar care cream formulated by the clinic . The staff are supportive, professional and I am referring all my friends and family to Dynasty Derm for complete skin checks /any skin health issues. Dr. Joanna Chan and sidekick Leo are that rare combination of expertise and people skills. Between the numbing meds and the friendly and interesting conversations, I hardly noticed that my basal cell was being excised! If you’re looking for a great dermatology practice, I recommend that you check out Dynasty. The entire staff is friendly and efficient, and they make the skin care experience a little less unpleasant.

My experience was beyond extraordinary. Dr. Hong was extremely patient and informative and kind and did an amazing examination . William was kind and also very informative and also did an excellent examination on me.. Mitchell was very kind and friendly as l walked in. Overall, it was an A+ experience.

My husband had MOHs surgery on his scalp to remove cancer. Yesterday was a followup visit with Dr. Janice Chan. Dr. Chan is thorough, explains what she is doing, returns phone calls when I have questions about how the wound is healing. The office staff is friendly and relays questions to the nurses and doctors and returns phone calls. Dynasty Dermatology is a great group to care for skin needs.

I was helped by Dr. Jeany Cheng at Dynasty and there is also a Joanna Chang as well (they even mixed up the names in my initial visit, confusing). Well, I have red bumb-itis, aka we don’t know what it really is, maybe folliculitis, bug bites, or staph infection? Jeany recommended taking antibiotics and some similar bacterial infection cream but that did nothing. One month later one of my 1cm diameter pimples that I stupidly treated with liquid nitrogen had just sat there doing nothing despite all this medicine. Ok says Jeany, maybe it’s just some kind of obscure inflammation problem, perhaps similar to eczema? Apply mometasone furoate twice a day for a month, she says. Well, I applied it once to these pimples, and they all suddenly disappeared (no need to wait one month, just literally one day, about), including the big one, thank god. But they still show up randomly and this steroid cream keeps doing its job so I can’t complain. I paid out of pocket, short about 600 total bucks for two visits and all this medicine. If it had Been cancer it would be PPO time and monthly premium losses. So I think I got a good deal! Thank you Dynasty and Dr Jeany Cheng, I hope I don’t have to see you guys again.
