Skin and Cancer Institute - Palmdale

I made an appointment here after reading all of the positive reviews and was not disappointed! The provider, Ms. LeeAnna Beech, PA, was very thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your skin issues. The staff is also friendly and responds quickly. I am so thankful for this office helping me find a solution to my problem!

What an awesome staff they have at this office. They are patient and very professional. Jamlie and Jessica were very personable when I came in and greeted me with kindness. That says a lot to me as a patient. Dr Leann is a fantastic doctor. Highly recommend her. Her bedside manner is off the chart. Thank you for taking good care of my needs. Grace Bohannan

Clean office, friendly staff and pretty short waiting time. Hunter Marteney PA listened to all my concerns, which is crucial, as some providers tend to rush you at times. After discussing with him, he moved forward with the best treatment plan, which I’m hoping works, as long as I do my part with consistency. Highly recommend this office.

My son "16 years old " has struggled with severe acne for over 2 years. We were referred to this Dermatology center, and for the first two months my son was happy with treatment. Doctor Hunter had prescribed him Accutane and it was working wonders, less breakouts, no more excessive oil glands and his pain had decreased from not having boils on his face and body. My son is a very active student , works out a lot and Accutane had helped him so much. Unfortunately this month everything changed because Doctor Hunter is no longer in "Skin and Cancer Institute" he moved unfortunately, and will be missed , excellent Doctor listened to my son and payed attention to details. Now we have a new Doctor " Andy " who did not agree on my son being on Accutane , my son did mention that he got mood swings sometimes "something normal for a teenager at his age" nothing mental or suciadal. Doctor Andy decided to take my son off Accutane and prescribed him topicals , this will completely reverse the severe acne. Doctor Andy did not look at my sons acne just sat in a corner in the office and changed treatment, didn’t touch him , take pictures or nothing. I am very upset and my son is too because he is the one suffering with Acne. We have an appointment this Wednesday with a different provider I pray that she listens to my son and takes in consideration that switching medications is not the best option because my son was already doing great on it. We understand that medications have side affects and we are willing to do everything possible to make sure my son is ok. He has no mental health issues but if they need verification we will agree for my son to get an evaluation for him to stay on Accutane. I hope his voice is heard because he is the one struggling with severe acne and pain. I do want to add that the front office staff and nurses have excellent customer service and have been very kind and understanding. I hope everything gets resolved this Wednesday.

The staff is amazing here! Everyone is kind and welcoming! The provider is amazing and you can genuinely tell that the team cares about your care plan! I highly recommend this establishment!

Office Staff was very courteous and friendly. Did not have to wait very long to see the Specialist. Once I got in the patient exam room, the assistants and Nurse were very patient and kind. I saw Dr. Hunter Marteney and he is amazing! He took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I was always comfortable. This was my first visit and I was very impressed!

My experience with palmdale office was great! On time for Mos Surgery and everyone very professional same experience always at my Ridgecrest office and I have been going there over 10 years! Love the helpful attitude everyone has.. Thank you for good experiences …
