My whole family has had amazing results with this acupuncture method! It’s super easy to make an appointment, and he's always so prompt and caring. My joints don’t ache anymore, my son’s headaches haven’t come back, my daughter’s asthma is under control, and my wife’s arthritis has improved so much. I have had a few physical/mental/hormonal changes since having my two children, and wanted to try more of a holistic approach after feeling the medical system didn’t do much to address the root issues. At NUGA, he refers to ‘constitutional medicine’ which helps you figure out your body type and how to best balance it, which will help your health fall back into alignment. Within 2 months of his treatment and the diet guidelines for my body type, I have seen improvement in my skin during pms, my mood and anxiety is leveling out throughout my cycle, and my overall physical health seems to be improving too! This is not a relaxing acupuncture technique, but a tapping with needles to target certain meridians in your body. I am very thankful to have found this practice and feel like I’m taking care of my body for the long run!

I have been going here for a few months now. Came in with alot of issues my primary, specialist and the hospitals were not getting to the root of. After trying many different things, I decided to try acupuncture. I'm not 100% yet and that's to be expected because of all my immune issues but I have seen a major improvement, in mobility w/ my different forms of arthritis, him helping me narrow down my body type has greatly helped with digestion issues, detoxing and skin issues. Highly would recommend, even with something as simple as recurring migraines could benefit from a few sessions. I'll come back with another review later in my healing journey. Try it for yourself. Dr. Cho has helped me so much! I was experiencing tingling in my hands and feet so I wanted to try an alternative to prescription meds, but I got so much more! The form you fill out has a list of ailments including PMS, acne, anxiety (and a lot of other things, those are just three I checked) and my skin is clearer, I’m nicer during that time and my anxiety has lessened significantly. This isn’t a go lay on the table, have needles placed, and chill; it’s a quick technique that only lasts a few minutes, but the results are amazing. After a few sessions he can confidently identify your body type and give you more information on what to eat to balance your system. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Cho has miraculously healed me! I have suffered from hives, migraines, vertigo, and tinnitus for years. The hives for 60 years, migraines for 50 years, and the vertigo and tinnitus have been worsening for the last 5 years. Through his treatment, I have a new life! I have taken meds for most of my life in an attempt to function, but under his care, I no longer suffer from the incredible itching of hives that Xolair shots couldn't help. I used to dread the coming of rain, as it would preceed a migraine, but now I don't have migraines! The vertigo would arrive unannounced and leave me queasy for days. Now I have no episodes! The tinnitus was worsening and affected my sleep. Dr. Cho has calmed it such that I barely have any of that annoying hissing. Also,I had forgotten what it felt like to go up and down steps without my knees aching. He cured aches and pains that I thought I should just live with because of my age. This acupuncturist referred to his technique as constitutional acupuncture, which is very quick (5-10 mins MAX). He is so quick that I was NEVER relaxed because of the constant tapping of the needles into the skin, which can be quite painful. After explaining why I chose to be treated by him, I was met with bias & unfounded opinions rooted in agesim. I didn't feel confident that he felt that he could possibly address my concerns and TBH, he didn't seem interested. When he verbalized that he doesn't see many people with my area of concern and it's out of his scope, that should've been my immediate sign that my experience would be subpar. Of note, he shared all of this AFTER my session. Because he has no online presence or true marketing outside of Yelp or Google, I can't confidently say that he is "known" for one particular specialty. As you can read and see by the minimal reviews and how long ago most were posted, there's not a lot you can glean from his experience, specialties, or active licensing. He's just kind of...there. Naturally one would ask specific questions because of the aforementioned and when I asked him questions, he seemed defensive ("I don't need money. / What, you don't trust me? / Western culture likes to sue if something doesnt work.") My interactions and experience weren't positive. Nuga is not an acupuncture practice I'd recommend to anyone.

Have issues with high blood pressure and didn’t want to add another medicine so decided to go a natural route and have been extremely happy with the results with Dr Cho acupuncture. I would highly recommend giving it a chance!
