Had a fantastic experience! Cannot say enough great things about Dr Mazzurco, Ashley, Jane and the rest of his staff - from scheduling, customer service, kindness, through insurance assistance. This team went above and beyond to take care of me throughout my procedures. Would definitely recommend seeing them for any dermatology needs. Thank you Peninsula Dermatology Team!

I don’t leave reviews but I couldn’t let this go. I was so disappointed by the behavior I witnessed in the office during my visit. I overheard some extremely unprofessional comments amongst the four women in that office and even saw a window slammed on an elder. So very troubling. The attitude of the lady during my last call here was so dismissive and her tone made me feel as my concern was not important, this was small compared to the conversations taking place about patients. Absolutely interesting to know one was a supervisor for a surgery center and this made me feel so unwelcome sitting there. The clinical staff have professionalism and are friendly but once again as I went to check out, the Dr told me to return in two months for a serious matter and received an appt for six months out and I asked why and got the why are you bothering me type of tone. I took time to read other reviews and I guess this behavior is brushed under the bridge quite often. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. I highly value patient confidentiality or else I would hold have spoken up in person. I am also a professional in the medical field . I do not want to compromise my care. However ,  I’m confident in relaying to others that the care Dr. Shenenberger gives is exceptional I also find it troubling that  a supervisor contributed to this experience. This alone reinforces the concerns I raised. This review was left to bring awareness and accountability.

Was found to have had skin cancer on my face in September and scheduled an appointment for the surgery to get it cut out in November. Just found out today (two days before the surgery) that they are going to have to move my surgery to a different date again for the third time. It was moved almost two months later in January (mind you it was September when I found out and started scheduling for surgery). I was told that they would need to reschedule my surgery after I had already got my FMLA approved and moved my school schedule around that surgery. It was canceled only two days before the surgery and was the third time it got moved (was previously moved two other times by them). I couldn't cancel my FMLA as it was already approved and had started. And now have to wait to January 6th and miss more school and work just to get it done. Wouldn't be surprised if they move it for the fourth time. Long story short if you are getting a checkup this place is fine but if you need surgery I would not recommend this place. They don't care about getting your surgery done in a timely manner and will just keep pushing the date back even if it's only a few days before the surgery. Would advise to go somewhere else if you need surgery. (Edit: Saw the response and I had asked that and the lady already said that January was the earliest day which is very annoying. What makes it more annoying is I never got any explanation as to why my appointment got moved each time it got moved which has been three times already with no explanation on why. The place seems like they don't care about their clients or the time and effort that goes in to making the surgery fit into their schedule. Like I don't know how y'all expected me to be able to get my FMLA changed after it already had started and a day before the surgery (with no explanation by the way). So, for someone reading this before making an appointment my timeline with them was I called in June and got a consultation appointment in September. Then found I had Basal Cell Carcinoma on my face and scheduled for November 13th to get it removed. A day later they called me saying they had to push my surgery back to November 18th. Then a week later called me again saying they had to push it back to November 19th. Then on Monday November 17th two days before my the surgery they called saying they had to push it back to January 6th with no explanation. Did this review just to let people who could be going here know that this place seems to be short staffed only one doctor if you need a surgery after consultation. So the wait time is astronomical and their is a real possibility that your appointment will get moved).

I was very pleased with my whole experience during my mohs surgery. The staff was very kind and put me at ease. Dr Mozzare was very good and I felt very confident with his treatment. The best part was having my own relaxing room and did not have to be transferred to a waiting room between procedures. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a positive experience at this Dermatology office. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized. My appointment was at 8:45 and I was seen by Dr. Castillo at 8:47 am. She took the time to listen to all my concerns and explained everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated their thoughtful, patient-centered approach. I was given options for my care and didn’t feel pressured at all. They were incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel confident in my treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Castillo and her practice to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled dermatology team!

Very kind and efficient staff throughout my experience. I feel they went above and beyond to take care of me during my recent cancer removal procedure. They even coordinated a same day procedure with a plastic surgeon for me. Dr Mazzurco explained every step to me and was extremely professional and caring in his demeanor. They were great.
