The Dermatology Specialists - Union Square

I just saw Dr. Antoury and she exceeded my expectations. This was my first full body, skin check, and I went into the appointment, extremely anxious. Dr. Antoury Not only eased my anxiety But performed a very thorough skin check that made me feel reassured and calm that everything was fine. I had to have one mole removed and biopsied, and she did so with minimal pain that I felt. I have already recommended her to several friends and will be going back on a yearly basis without the anxiety that I would’ve had.

Despite there being a lack of communication from a different location (where my appointment was initially scheduled for) the USQ office was efficient, quick, & kind. The front desk assistant was able to carry herself with patience and understanding given the last minute circumstances of my appointment. I didn’t get her name but her & provider Alyssa were a huge help to my day. Thank you to the staff at Union Square tonight !

I was having a skin issue and scheduled an appointment at 12:00 PM and wasn’t seen until 1:00 PM. The physicians assistant spent less than five minutes with me. She couldn’t tell what the issue was so she took a couple of tests to send to the lab, prescribed me three different creams and told me to use all of them and one of them should fix the issue. After a couple days it was clear my issue was worsening and none of the prescribed creams were helping. Since my first visit wasn’t favorable I decided to visit a different dermatologist who was able to quickly and correctly identify the problem and prescribe medicine that actually helped. I called back the next week to check on the results of my tests and they told me only some of tests had come back but they wouldn’t tell me the results until all of them came back. I never received any call back with the test results. Terrible service - I would not recommend to anyone.

The dermatologist was exceptionally attentive and reassuring, taking extra care to understand my concerns and offer thoughtful solutions. The staff was warm, patient, and efficient, and I never waited more than a few minutes to be seen.

Office was overbooked and rescheduled my appointment to 1.5 hours later after I showed up on time. The office informed me that Dr. Robert L. Buka, MD, JD does not practice at this office and the information on Zocdoc is inaccurate. This office uses an AI-powered virtual receptionist. Avoid this office!

They charged me for 2x copays after I had explained to them that my out of pocket was met for the year. Either I had to pay or not see the Dr. Basically stealing from me. Unless corrected I will not return.

Doctor was nice but there was no transparency in regards to pricing. I got charged $400 for a 5 minute consultation even though this was supposed to be in my insurance network and also got charged additionally for a biopsy which I never even heard back about. Everyone was very helpful I just wish there was more clarity beforehand.
