I’ve been seeing Dr. Sherwin Parikh at Tribeca Skin Center for over 20 years, and I truly can’t imagine trusting my skin to anyone else. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, thoughtful, and honest, with an approach that always feels personalized and never rushed. After two decades, I can confidently say Dr. Parikh is not only an outstanding dermatologist but someone I trust completely. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful visit and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Everything was clearly explained, I learned a lot, and the plan we put together feels straightforward and manageable. I felt comfortable from start to finish, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember, and my trust in this practice only continues to grow. I left feeling confident, at ease, and well cared for.

The providers are skilled. Rowena Woo and Dr. Greenberg are excellent, and Benito at the front desk is always warm and welcoming. I started coming here in my mid twenties to invest in my skin, and I’ve spent thousands over the years on facials and VI peels. I’ve always sung their praises and referred people here. But being told I now have to pay $135 in person just to renew a $30 prescription (azelaic acid) I’ve been on for 3 years without issue feels greedy and like they are gatekeeping basic skincare. I was told this has ‘always been the policy,’ but it hasn’t been applied in the past 3 years, and the response was that I’d just been ‘lucky’ not to be charged before. That doesn’t feel like luck...it feels like deciding to squeeze extra out of patients. If I was having any genuine issues with the prescription I wouldn’t be asking for refills. I don’t appreciate being nickel-and-dimed over something this simple. It’s not about the money. It’s the principle. I feel disappointed.

Dr. Parikh was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable and he patiently answered all of my questions; he struck that delicate balance of informative and supportive without being pushy. I will definitely return - and refer others (I myself am a referral from a friend)

1. TIME PRESSURE Be prepared that you will only have five minutes, after that a doctor will ask you to leave. The staff will start knocking on the door (to stop serving you and go to another customer). Money are much more important for them or for the owner than quality healthcare, happy patients and empowered society. All they they try to do is make prescriptions and send you home. After around ten minutes they will do their best to stop helping you. At the same time some appointments begin 10-20 minutes late. 2. FRONT DESK WITHOUT ATTENTION TO DETAILS The front desk is tend to appoint a doctor your insurance doesn’t accept. They prefer to avoid answering your questions. 3. EXPENSIVE PROCEDURES, QUESTIONABLE PRESCRIPTIONS Some operations will be expensive, but don’t expect good results. And nobody explains how to use prescriptions properly without ruining your skin. Be careful, it’s about revenue, not care.

Our whole family sees Dr Parikh and we recommend him highly, but even on one occasion, when the situation was urgent but Dr Parikh was not available, the care we received was excellent. The office is clean and spacious and the staff is courteous and competent. And Tribeca Skin Center accepts Medicare, which is important to my husband and me.

I used to love this place. I was a patient for 27 years. I called to cancel because I was sick, and they charged me a no-show fee, saying that I had to give them 24 hours ' notice. They were extremely rude when I tried to get them to refund it and claimed I should have come in sick. I could not breathe and had to see a doctor for that.
