This review is long over due, but I have had other procedures from other surgeons that look good initially but don’t stand the test of time. 7 months ago, I had a thread lift, facial fat removal in some areas and facial fat transfer in other areas. I had been searching for a doctor to correct facial symmetry that had been ruined by prior surgeons, and I was just trying to get back to looking like myself. I have wasted money over the past 10 years on procedures with other surgeons that didn’t deliver on correcting the facial symmetry or didn’t last. I saw one of Dr Kang’s videos, and I loved how he was describing what he was going to do and how he was going to achieve more facial harmony. I booked an appt with him, drove from out of state and had my consult. In the consult, I started to explain to Dr Kang what I was looking for and my failed surgical history that led me to him. Dr. Kang was actually interested in what I was saying, he LISTENED. This immediately was a different experience for me, as most surgeons don’t care what happened to you, they just want to tell you how they are going to fix it. Dr Kang understood it’s important to know the surgical history, as it may impact what he can and cannot do. During the consult, we had a meaningful and productive conversation about what I was looking for, as well as what he was capable of doing. I knew as soon as I left the consult, I was going to schedule the procedures we discussed. He is extremely confident in his abilities and with good reason, he delivers. During the surgery, which was all under local anesthesia (bonus), he would periodically have me sit up and give me a mirror, and we would discuss if I needed more fat, less fat, etc.. I have never had a doctor ask my opinion during the surgery, and I absolutely loved that he did that! He knew that I had had such a traumatic past surgical history, that he wanted to make sure he was meeting my goals. This is a doctor who has empathy and truly cares about his patients. After the procedures, he was honest, and told me only approximately 40% of the fat would live, and I may need another fat transfer to meet my goals, but I may like the results at 40% or I may want to do another round. Here it it is is 7 months later, and I do think I might want a little more, however the results of the combination of the procedures he did, have transformed my face where I see the old me, which I had been searching for 10 years due to prior botched procedures. It had gotten to a point where I really hated looking at myself in the mirror, as I would get very angry about what prior surgeons had done to my face. My results with Dr Kang changed my life where I feel good about myself and can look in a mirror without getting angry or depressed. Everyone who knows what I have been through have been amazed at the results and how natural I look. Dr Kang is truly a perfectionist, a visionary, an artist who treats his patients with respect and values the patient doctor relationship as a partnership vs a sole proprietor. He is without question the best kept secret in NY. I can’t complete this review without mentioning his amazing staff; they are simply so kind, sweet and competent; they contributed to the whole experience being stress free. Dr Kang is my new go to doctor, and I feel so blessed and lucky to have found him! Thank-you Dr Kang, you are the man! ❤️

I've been recommended by a good friend of mine to see Dr Kang due to my eyelids sagging and some fat bag protruding from my lower eyelids. I just got both the upper and lower blepharoplasty a week ago and the results look great! Little to no swelling and luckily I've been able to recover quickly! Despite being 70 years old, Dr Kang was able to rewind the clock to make my eyes look very natural from what it looked like 10-20 years before.. highly recommend seeing Dr Kang. Thank you!!

I had upper eyelid surgery with him 4 years ago and unfortunately cannot recommend it. My eyes now look noticeably asymmetrical. He operated on the right eye first, then on the left, and afterward realized the right eye had less skin removed. When I brought this up, he told me my eyes were naturally asymmetrical, instead of correcting the issue. On top of that, more skin was removed near the inner corner of the left eye, while the right eye wasn’t treated the same way. As a result, my eyelids look uneven, with the right eyelid droopy. After years of feeling self-conscious about emerging fine lines and jawline, I started researching non-surgical options to restore a more defined V-line shape to my face. That’s how I found Dr Kang. After reading countless reviews and watching every video I could find, I was impressed by his natural results and meticulous technique, and decided to book a consultation for a threadlift. From the very beginning, I felt I was in safe, expert hands. Dr Kang was warm, professional, and incredibly thorough — he took the time to understand my concerns and explained the entire process clearly, including what to expect both during and after the procedure. I was especially anxious about looking too "tight" or pulled, but he reassured me we would aim for subtle, elegant definition. The procedure itself was much easier than I expected. I have a very low pain tolerance, but Dr Kang and his team were fantastic, the pain relief was perfectly dosed, and I was even able to look in the mirror during the process to help guide the final outcome. Recovery was manageable; sleeping with my head elevated for a few nights was a bit uncomfortable, but overall it was smooth. Now, nine months later, I couldn’t be happier with the results. My skin is firmer and more lifted, there are n fine lines, and the jawline has the soft V-shape I was hoping for and I get compliments all the time on how refreshed I look. This was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself, and I will absolutely return to Dr Kang for future treatments as the years go on (I have already returned for botox!). His work is subtle but transformative.

I do the double eyelid surgery, and is pretty good and fit me. No painful, no suffer. The recovery is fast I just use two week to become natural. Like it!

I initially visited Dr. Kang’s office (1/30/24) to find a solution for my jaw muscle. I noticed over the years that it had grown significantly larger from grinding and made my face look very wide. Nurse Claudia was my injector under the guidance of Dr Kang and while I was extremely nervous initially, they put me at ease by explaining every little detail and reason as to how they would be injecting and why. He addressed my concerns of how Botox would affect my other muscles and was very knowledgeable and patient. Claudia was extremely gentle with me and I barely felt any discomfort. She has an amazing eye for symmetry and noticed some minor details that I have been super insecure about. She was also very attentive to how I was reacting to each injection and made sure I stayed comfortable throughout my service. I especially appreciated Dr. Kang’s transparency when I asked about my eyelids and potential options to make them look more balanced but he advised against surgery as he felt it wasn’t necessary for me. In a world where many doctors push you to get more done, it is refreshing to have a doctor who is truly believes in enhancing but not doing too much. Returned for a 2 week checkup to make sure results were perfect and I ended up returning again (march 5th) to take care of my forehead lines and 11s. Highly recommend this doctor if you are looking for a responsible and knowledgeable place to go to enhance your natural beauty without changing too much of your face.

I love, love Dr. Kang . both my mom and I go to him and he is wonderful. He’s done so many little tricks and tips just to keep me looking natural as I age gracefully. I feel very comfortable with him, and that means a lot to me. His staff is wonderful as well
