I am very pleased with my Dermatologist Dr. Ayar!! What a kind, sincere doctor….always exhibiting excellent bedside manner. that being said, I find him extremely easy to talk to as he is always willing to answer any/all questions… yes, very knowledgeable in this field. His staff could not be kinder and seem to work hard to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Absolutely recommend 100%.;))

I strongly recommend this office. I have seen both Dr Ayar (in the past) and his PA Jessica (recently). Thankfully, anytime I’ve had a skin concern, I have no issues getting an appt at this office and being seen within a timely manner. This visit I saw Jessica for what I thought was a pretty nasty rash. She was kind, knowledgeable and treated me for two possible outcomes in order to prevent a possible hospital visit. I am forever grateful for Jessica’s quick thinking and her help with this really uncomfortable situation. I am so happy to be a patient with the this office and hope to continue be for years to come.

I had a very negative experience with one of the doctor Jessica Amortegui. I was clearly anxious about having a biopsy, and instead of being supportive or reassuring, the doctor repeatedly looked at the nurse and made comments that felt mocking. This made me feel humiliated and uncomfortable. Additionally, the doctor compared the biopsy to "removing mold," which I found misleading and dismissive of my concerns. A medical procedure should be explained accurately and with empathy, especially when a patient is afraid. I left the appointment feeling insulted rather than cared for. I believe patients deserve respect, compassion, and clear communication, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

It was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived early,I knew there would be paperwork,no paperwork,but a tablet to input my info.my appt was for 9:30 was seen 9:37.The check in person was very nice and helpful.The PA Jessica that attended was well informed.The assistant Tyler was very nice and settled my nerves.Jessica addressed my concerns,a small procedure was done and off I went.A very pleasant experience...I am making an appt for my grandson.I have a new dermatologist!

I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the way I was treated during my recent procedure by Dr. Ayar. His bedside manner was unprofessional, cold, and dismissive. (However, the front desk and The Assistants were excellent) Basic empathy and communication are fundamental parts of patient care, and the lack of both was glaringly apparent. Needless to say, I will never step foot in your practice. And will make sure anyone who asks for a Dermatologist reference knows of my experience.

Dermatology Experts and Dr. Ayar literally saved my life. I had a very severe case of plaque psoriasis and they treated me until they found what works for me. It’s amazing my body has healed even though I know it will always be with me but you can’t see it on me and that made my life go back to normal. I will for ever be greatful to all they did.

This office doesn’t respect other people’s time. They made me wait 45 minutes in the waiting room and then another 30min staring in the consult room where all I could do was stare at a skin cancer poster. This is not an emergency room, I would think 30min wait acceptable but over one hour is simply disrespectful.
