Ochsner Health Center - Metairie

I have a huge irrational fear of doctors and medical professionals, but I have some medical needs that need to be addressed. I scheduled an appointment through their website. It was easy. I came and my needs were addressed promptly. Employees were friendly.

Plenty of parking wide area for waiting rooms registration employees are always very courteous. Nurses always willing to help of very knowledgeable on a medical practice as well as the doctors doctors here. Very thorough. Their main concern is to get the patient healthy and well and to take all steps needed

I love Ochsner. After decades of using EJGH, we switched to Ochsner a few years ago, and the difference was night and day. When choosing insurance, I would select an Ochsner-only plan if that was available. The customer service is top notch. There is an app that makes e-precheck a breeze, and it allows you to add all your appointments to your calendar 📆 with one click. I've also never had to wait more than a few minutes after arriving to see my doctor. The app also allows you to send messages to your care team, and they can respond quickly and securely back to you in the app. It also makes scheduling a new appointment a breeze. No more hanging on the phone for 30 minutes.

Ochsner is the best hospital I know. I have heart and lung disease and these doctors and nurses treat me like gold every time I visit I’m treated with respect, when staying overnight the nurses check on me to make sure I’m comfortable. Comfortable, clean, quiet waiting room. Reasonable quick from check in to being in a room. Nothing special or out of the ordinary although reliable and professional.

I've gone to this location several times for blood work and they are consistently wonderful! On every occasion that I've gone, the staff were so friendly. I've been to other places for medical services where the receptionist makes you feel like a bother or is simply rude. This Ochsner lab location has been the exact opposite! I've also gone ahead of my scheduled appointment and I've always been accommodated and seen quickly. Their phlebotomists are also friendly and I have never had an issue with their ability to draw my blood. I don't normally leave reviews on places, but each time I've gone, I left thinking that the staff deserve some praise because they are that good!
