Novant Health Dermatology Associates

Referred here by pcp and saw the very elderly provider who said 1 thing and documented another. Called back wanting to see someone else and was denied and told that the provider would decide if we could see someone else.

I was given a referral today from my primary for dermatology. I informed the receptionist that I’m dealing with a skin issue stemming most likely from candida overgrowth. She explained to me that PA’s were not qualified to discuss complex issues like mine and that I would need to go completely out of the Novant health care system and find a MD Dermatologist and Novant doesn’t have any. She had no other recommendations for me and now I’m having to go outside my insurance carrier. I’m confused honestly but mostly just frustrated and incredibly disappointed. At this point I’ll be changing insurances and finding completely new providers.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. The front desk was helpful and acknowledged me right away. The consultation was very thorough and Becky answered all my questions. She even wrote all the steps we discussed on paper. After I left, I went to get my medication and it was super expensive. I called the office back and they personally called my pharmacy to inquire why and gave me a few options and coupons to lower the price. I ended up paying a fraction of the price for my meds. I totally recommend this dermatologist office.

Amazing care! I’ve seen David for years and have been very impressed with the care I’ve gotten. I recently took my two year old in for care, and was equally impressed with how David adjusted his bedside manner for a child. He immediately put my son at ease and interacted with effortlessly. He also answered all of my questions clearly. I’m a big fan and a lifetime patient!

From the appointment set up, and reminders, to when I met my Dermatologist, was all very positive and friendly. My wait time to see my doctor was only 5 minutes. Sonia Sebatiano, PA-C was amazing! She listened to my concerns and took the time to go over them with me. I felt like a human and not a number. I highly recommend seeing her for your skin care needs, because she does care and knows what she is doing. The whole staff/team in that office were fantastic, and they all got along with each other very well. You can tell that they enjoy working with one another and communicate well, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere and calms any one who is nervous coming into the office.

I took my son in after be broke out in a rash that was seemingly spreading. Every person in the office that we spoke with, was pleasant and so helpful. As a parent that was already stressed due to my son’s discomfort, they made the experience so smooth. They don’t know how much I really appreciated that. I felt heard and the treatment for my son is working!

Jennifer Lopez, FNP Diagnosed my condition immediately treated the area and had a wonderful disposition. She provided a wealth of information, spent some time with me and gave me a great experience. I would highly recommend this office and particularly Jennifer Lopez to anybody that has any issues with their skin.
