Tanner Clinic - Layton Parkway

I was absolutely amazed by the high level of care I received today at Tanner Clinic’s Urgent Care. I don’t even remember a wait time because everything moved so fast. I interacted with four different departments and everyone was kind and helpful. I had my lab results before I left and radiology called the same evening and confirmed the diagnosis. I would have spent the entire day in an ER, spent thousands of dollars and been waiting all day. Thank you so much to Dr. Joshua Told, and all the support staff who took care of me today.

Fantastic place. Beautiful building. Extremely helpful staff. And for a CT Scan and an MRI, I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. One of the most efficient and professional experiences I have ever had at any medical appointment, in my entire life! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the new Tanner Clinic facility in Layton Parkway.

Honestly, I’ve had a really great experience for the 7 months I’ve been coming here for my pregnancy. Always greeted in and out of the clinic. They’re clean and calm. The receptionist for OBGYN is great, my midwife Connie Comstock is amazing, very attentive and caring. Overall my experience is amazing, definitely recommend new mothers, experienced mothers to come to this clinic!

The receptionist was very helpful and he was very polite. The nurse I had in the urgent care facility was very rude in the beginning and was inexperienced at taking blood, she missed my vein in one arm and had to try again in the other arm. She also failed to read the notes that the receptionist had put in for her, I had to explain to her what was needed, and what I was there for even though it was already on her screen in the notes.

I was very impressed with Tanner clinic. The new building is beautiful and clean. There was plenty of space for patients to sit comfortably and masks were provided. The staff was very friendly, people at the front desk, the nurses, and the doctor. I was treated very respectfully and even though the visit was short I felt attended to and listen to in a very caring way.

I have been going to Dr. Bishop for a lot of years now!! He has been extremely helpful, supportive, and kind. It’s very hard to find a good family doctor that takes the time to listen and works on ensuring that you’re healthy along with being friendly and knowledgeable regarding your wellbeing!! Thank you Dr. Bishop for working with me, it’s greatly appreciated!!

Dr. Johnnie Cook is the first doctor in nine years of living in Utah who truly listened to my daughter and demonstrated what real bedside manner looks like. He is kind, respectful, attentive, and takes the time to explain and address concerns without rushing or dismissing them. He makes patients feel heard and genuinely works toward solutions. Quality medical care has been very difficult to find in the Ogden area, and many providers seem rushed, dismissive, or disengaged. Dr. Cook stood out immediately as someone who genuinely cares and wants to help. He is worth every minute of the drive, and I sincerely hope he remains our primary provider for a long time.
