I’ve been a patient of Dr.Ondo since I was a teenager. He’s a great doctor, very thorough, patient and helpful. His office is prompt with the appointments that I’ve had and have even been able to get me in faster by being out on a cancellation list when I need a last minute appointment. One of the women who works the front desk is especially nice. I highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience with the staff. I had been a long time patient, when my PCP found a fast growing lesion suspected to be cancer. I called to get an appointment, and was stonewalled. He's booked solid for over a month, she said. I can put you on a cancellation list, she said. But my Dr had made it clear I needed a biopsy this week. I hung up in distress. There was no empathy at all, not an ounce of compassion, and no willingness to help me in any way. When I called back to speak to the manager, I don't know what she had told her, but the manager too refused to help me, and instead started in on a lecture about hanging up the first time! She was more interested in yelling at me over a perceived slight than getting my cancer biopsied. Along the way she did mention that the Dr would be there in the morning and to be sure that the faxed referral from my Dr was sent. My Dr. told me that the office had refused the referral even before I called the first time. I never heard back from them. I had thought I could trust that they would be there for me in such a situation. Dr Ondo himself has always been very pleasant, but what good is that if you can't get past the gatekeepers?

I've been going to see Dr. Ondo for quite a few years for my condition and I am largely impressed by his expertise and how up to date he stays on treatments and options.

The staff consistently demonstrates a positive and welcoming demeanor. JULIE provided exceptional assistance in scheduling a non-emergency appointment. The medical professionals exhibit professionalism and excellent communication skills. I highly recommend their services.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. I had an appointment for 3pm on a Thursday. On my way to my appointment I got a call at 239pm asking where I was. And was told if I didn't arrive by 245pm they would be canceling my appointment and charging me a no show fee of $40. Mind you I was 2 minutes from the office. This is absurd, as many offices have grace periods. I just spoke to one in el paso who has a 15min grace period. Looking back, this office closes at 3pm on Thursdays, yet my appointment was for 3pm. Staff was obviously in a hurry to leave, hence the phone call at 2:39. Very very bad customer service.

Came for a scheduled appt at 1 - almost 2 hrs here and still on the waiting room - yet they will cancel an appointment if you’re 10 min late … doesn’t make sense at all …

Horrible business practice. I missed an appointment due to a family emergency and they still charged me 40.00 fee.
