Dr. John Sowell

After having gone to more doctors in my lifetime that I would like to admit, I have to say that Dr. Sowell is the best! I have NEVER had to wait on him like I have to with all my other physicians. If my appointment is at 8:30, I am on my way home, on many occasions, even before that time. He is knowledgeable, kind and professional. Definitely a doctor to visit! J. Davis

My first visit to Dr. Sowell outstanding to include his staff. I arrived for my scheduled time and Dr. Sowell came right in for my examination. He immediately identified my concerns and treated them. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the time he took to ensure I received the right care. I would highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Sowell for many years because I get small skin cancers from overexposure to the sun when I was younger. Dr. Sowell is friendly, knowledgeable, and concerned for his patients. He knows the best course of action and handles it competently. In addition, his staff is friendly and professional. I am happy to recommend him.

Dr. Sowell has been my dermatologist for years. He snd his staff are easily 5 Stars. His staff and nurses are always helpful and friendly. Scheduling takes my time into consideration. Rarely do I wait more than a few minutes in the lobby or for time spent with the nurse and Dr. Sowell. I have never felt rushed and am at ease throughout the appointment. Dr. Sowell and his staff are caring, professional, and attentive.

Have been seeing him for several years. He has helped with the care and removal of several Squamous Cell and Basal Cell Carcinoma skin cancer places on my body and also the prevention of other skin lesions. He and his staff are caring and extremely knowledgeable in different aspects of skin issues. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology.

Doctor and nursing staff are friendly and knowledgeable. However, their office staff are rude, do not greet you, and overall unfriendly. I will keep going back for the medical care because it’s so difficult to get into a dermotologist in Huntsville. However, if there were more choices, I’d most likely switch practices. I did mention my concerns about the professionalism of the office staff to Dr. Sowell today and he appeared to be concerned about the feedback I gave him.

Visited Dr. Sowell’s office today was amazed at what little time after seeing the waiting room loaded with people how fast I actually got into see him. The doctor and his staff is very courteous and so attentive to the patients needs.. Great job
