I read these reviews and can understand the varied posts. Bottom line: Dr Cohen is a very talented and efficient doctor. If you have a condition that needs treatment, she will take extremely good care of you. She is no nonsense and direct to the point. She will not coddle you nor enable nor allow you to justify behaviors. If you have a dermatology issue she WILL provide excellent treatment.

I was great with a friendly receptionist who gladly answered my questions. The nurse or assistant who took my history listen and noted my comments in I felt accurate detail. Dr Silvia Sedrak was kind compassionate and friendly. She answers my questions and my requests to do an unexpected biopsy to save me a trip was accommodated. I appreciated the overall friendly atmosphere in the office. Well done

I couldn't disagree more with the previous review from Ms Erin Beck. I have been going to Dr. Cohen for the past year or so and each time she has been very helpful and attentive. They always refill my prescription without having to see me first (like a lot of doctors do) and I find the front office and support staff very friendly. Overall, very satisfied with Dr. Cohen!

This is not a review for Dr. Cohen (she has retired and no longer works in this practice). This is a review for Dr. Silvia Sedrak who, along with her husband, took over the practice. Unlike Dr. Cohen who was super thorough, Dr. Sedrak was the opposite. I went in for a full body scan, but she only glanced at the back of my legs, in between my toes and briefly on the upper back and that was it. I won't be returning. To pay $50.00 for her to spend five minutes and not be doing a FULL scan is ridiculous. Especially since there were many occasions with Dr. Cohen where she found spots of concern to either freeze off or biopsy.

Great staff. Fast , attentive, great management. Wait time is less then 10 min. Dr Cohen takes her time and really cares and appreciated her patients. Does not seem like she is money hungry. Most other doctors I've visited wanted me in and out just for the copay and office visit. Thanks advanced dermatology and the great staff.

Dr. Cohen spent 5 minutes with me each time I visited her and never listed to my concerns. Then her staff proceeded to have the wrong phone number on call for me and charged me $50 for an appointment they never notified me about. If you want to see a dermatologist that will actually care and treat you like a human, go somewhere else!

This medical practice has the trifecta of good care in my experience. The office is well organized, the staff are caring, friendly, and efficient. And, the medical care is outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen as an excellent dermatologist.
