Cone Health Dermatology

I am new to Cone Dermatology, but not new to having skin cancer (melanoma). My dad and myself visited cone for the 1st time this week and was very impressed with the practice! The staff made sure we were seen on the same day and while my dad was having his procedure I was getting my skin check. They were very patient and kind through out the entire day! Brenda is my PA and I have been her patient for years, she is the absolute best!! She goes above and beyond for her patients and is always just a phone call away!! Thank you Cone Dermatology for allowing us to be your new patients

My appt went good, I was a new patient for Jennifer David. I booked this appointment in November 2024 and had it May 21st, 25. I’m so glad it didn’t get cancelled bc of provider. I arrived for my appointment time @9:30. I understand in medicine it’s unpredictable, I waited a good 40 minutes before I got called back. They told us the dr was an hour behind if we wanted to reschedule, some wanted to, but they couldn’t get in til August so they were probably upset. I’ve been waiting since November and didn’t have anywhere to be this morning so I didn’t mind waiting two hours if I had to, the cma and Dr were awesome! The visit was thorough but fast. I was there for a skin check as my mom has melanoma. The dr checked everywhere, even my scalp, which I’ve never had anyone do. She was so kind and made me feel comfortable. She even suggested things to use for another condition I have & prescriptions. It was awesome I got free samples of sunscreen like I got a goodie bag like you get at the dentist!

I don't know where to start from the time I found out I had skin cancer I thought I was in trouble. Because Alamance Dermatology just wasn't doing what they were supposed to. I got in touch with Brenda and she and the rest of the wonderful folks at Cone got me in the very next day. I am so grateful for all that Brenda, Dr. P and Karen done for me. I would suggest these ladies to anyone.. Again thanks so much!! You guys are awesome... 🙂

My PA today for a skin checkup was Brenda and I cannot recommend her enough! She was so thorough and respectful during the examination and answered all of my questions. She couldn't have been more informative about precautions and what to look for in the future. I left feeling well-informed and like my health is in good hands. I'd also like to mention how friendly and helpful the staff in general were to me. Even Mo, the receptionist was so kind and gave me the impression that Cone health dermatology has a solid team that cares about their patients.

I went in for an appointment at Cone Health Dermatology because I had developed several new spots and was especially concerned about one on my back that had recently changed a lot. I asked for a full-body skin check. Honestly, it took me longer to change into the gown than it did for the doctor to check my ENTIRE body. I even asked her to look again, but she brushed it off and told me I was fine. I left feeling unsettled, so I scheduled a second opinion with another dermatologist who came highly recommended both by people I know and online. That doctor took a very thorough amount of time examining my skin—he even pointed out spots I hadn’t noticed (thankfully harmless). But when he looked at the spot on my back, he agreed it was concerning and decided to test it. The biopsy came back as skin cancer. If I had trusted the rushed exam at Cone Health, I would still be walking around thinking everything was fine. Now I’m scheduled for surgery in November to have the cancer removed. This experience was extremely disappointing and honestly frightening. Dermatology exams are not something that should ever feel rushed—people’s lives and health are at stake.

Dr. Jennifer David was fantastic! You can tell that she cares about her patients by the way that she communicates and listens. All of the staff that I encountered was also very helpful and made me feel at ease especially nurse Jetta.

Amazing staff from the front desk to the procedure room, they deserve a 100 stars! Dr. Paci and her team are wonderful! Today I had the MOHS procedure, and couldn’t have done it without Dr. Paci and her team. I love how they explained everything and allowed my husband and I to ask questions. Dr. Paci and her team have great bedside manner and show true compassion for the work they do! i would HIGHLY recommend this office to EVERYONE! I am beyond greatful to have this care team 💕
