Grandville Health Center | University of Michigan Health-West

Their website says "accepting new patients", but it needs to say "accepting new patients with U of M PCP's only", so other "outside patients" like me, do not waste their time calling to schedule an appointment or having a referral sent because they're in the right location, they're in-network with my insurance, and claim they're accepting new patients.

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with my experience at this doctor's office. Despite repeatedly expressing my concerns and symptoms, the doctor completely dismissed my complaints during my visits. I was rushed through appointments, and my health issues were never taken seriously. Now, I am dealing with serious health complications that could have been avoided if my concerns had been properly addressed. The lack of attention and care has caused me significant harm, and I feel completely ignored and unsupported. I trusted this office with my health, and I deeply regret it. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. It's a shame that patients' well-being is treated with such negligence. Also to note: If you are 1 minute late to your appointment, they will not see you. If you check into your appointment on time, you will not be called from the waiting room for another 15 minutes, then you will sit in the room for another 30 minutes before the doctor even comes in.

Saw a Dr for cysts on my scalp. Something I've had removed previously (different dr). They tried to tell me they couldn't do 3 bumps in one sitting (mind u previous Dr who was not a dermatologist did 5 in one sitting), they got me scheduled and 3 weeks priorto my appointment they rescheduled it. Then 2 weeks before my scheduled appt called to tell me it had to be done on a different day because they didn't do procedures on that day. I flat out canceled my appointment and will not be returning. This place is very unprofessional!!

One star is generous. I went to this location for months, begging to be heard - only to be dismissed and misdiagnosed. Their misdiagnoses almost cost me my life, and has potentially caused me to be unable to have children. I was being treated for ‘bronchitis’ over the course of 3 months. Turns out what I had was actually cancer. By the time I was diagnosed, it progressed to stage 4 and by then I had also developed SVC Syndrome. I'm still paying for the misdiagnosis today and will carry the trauma for the rest of my life.

Very unprofessional, unorganized, and without a doubt nothing like University of Michigan Ann Arbor! Don’t think they communicate with anyone or read anything. They definitely don’t check your accounts when you do check-in online! Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. Or better yet go to the University of Michigan Ann Arbor for quality care. This place is not it!

I usually go to the location on 44th street but my son was extremely sick and needed to be seen asap. So they gave me an appointment here. I ended up having to turn around and go back home because my son used the bathroom and it leaked through his clothes (part of what was wrong with him) and I was 3 minutes late and they wouldn’t see him. Very rude. Would never recommend this location ever

Been going here since I first moved to Grandville 5 years ago and everyone who I’ve interacted with has been nothing but kind and professional. Highly recommended.
