If I could leave 0 stars I would! The biologic nurse Melissa is completely incompetent in her position. She has absolutely zero communication skills. You have to continually follow up with her and never receive a response back. My PCP office cannot even get a response from their office. Dr. Stawiski will be disappointed in how this practice is being managed after his retirement!
Friendly staff. Clean office environment. I got right in and out , no waiting. Matt, is very good at listening to want you want and need. He has helped me the last few years.
I had 1small area on my chest, and 2 small areas on my back they numb the area, I did not need stitches I had no pain, felt fine. I liked the after care wound care instructions. I asked questions. Grateful all went well. I am 82. They were very patient and all went well.
THANK YOU for your compassion and professionalism. The front desk ladies and Matt are so patient and really listen to my concerns. I trust their expertise and will 100% recommend to my friends and family. Thank you for taking care of my issue ❤️
Unprofessional and disappointing. Called in May to make an appt. Asked to see Dr Stawiski because other people in my family liked him. Asked to be seen in Jenison, but was told that he was only in Grand Rapids. Didn't want to go to GR as it's a much farther, but wanted to see Dr. Stawiski, so I agreed. The soonest they could schedule me was in November. Fine. Not ideal, but to be expected as a new patient. Leading up to the appt I receive no communication. No emails. No paperwork. Nothing. Finally, 5 days before my appt I get an automated reminder call at 7pm. The next day I get a text asking me to confirm the appt. The name in the text is not mine. You would think that a healthcare practice would make sure that they have accurate patient information for billing purposes. The day of, I was running late due to weather. Tried calling. No one answered. I get to the office about 5 mins late. I walk up to the front desk and the person there is on their phone. When they do notice me they give me paperwork to fill out while I wait for Matt. I was confused because I asked to see Dr Stawiski, but I brushed it off because I thought maybe they misspoke. I start filling out the paperwork and get called back before I'm done. Shortly after, Matt comes in. Again, I'm confused who he is and why I'm being seen by him. He looks at the problem area that I came in for: a bump on my leg that I wanted removed. He pokes at the bump and studies it for a whole 7 seconds before telling me that it was not something I needed to worry about. Confused again, I told him that I wasn't worried, I just wanted it gone. He told me I didn't need to get it removed. I told him I still wanted it removed. He said if they removed it, it would leave a scar. I told him that I was fine with that as I was more concerned with the fact that I have shaved the bump off my leg multiple times and that I would rather have a scar than risk getting an infection from cutting it off with a razor. He told me again that I didn't need to worry and didn't need to get it removed. I told him that I understood that, but still wanted it gone as that is what I made the appt for. He told me that if I REALLY wanted it gone, I would need to make another appt and that they could probably get me back in in 2 months. I again told him that I thought that this appt was to get it removed. He said that it would require surgery that would not be covered by insurance and he again told me that I didn't need to go through that because he didn't think I needed to get it removed. He again told me that it would leave a scar, as if I cared. Truly have never been to any other provider that talked to me in such a dismissive and condescending way. Frustrated from going around in circles with him for significantly longer than it took him to diagnose me, I cried. Mind you, I hadn't finished my paperwork. He sat there awkwardly (can't really blame him) and then finally changed his dismissive tone and offered to refer me to a different practice. Not what I wanted, but fine. That was the whole appt. I composed myself as I much as I could, finished the paperwork that felt pointless now, and went to the checkout counter. The person working there takes my paperwork and asks if I have my ID. They let me know that the person at the front desk was supposed to make a copy of it when I walked in, but forgot. They then asked me if I knew what my copay would be. I asked them if they could look it up, which they said they could do and did easily. Not sure if they would have just charged me for any amount I told them, but I have never been anywhere that has asked that and it just seemed like they were too lazy to look it up. They tell me my copay and I go to pay. Their card reader isn't responding. They try again. And again. I try another card. Nothing. They finally let me leave and say that they will bill me. TWO MONTHS LATER, I get a bill in the mail for $50. My name is spelled wrong on the bill. Come to find out, Dr Stawiski retired and I was never going to be able to see him anyway. Horrible experience.
After many years of searching for a solution to my chronic eczema, Matthew got me in the path of healing with Dupixen. So thankful I can finally say goodbye to the itchiness that affected my way of life and sleep. While waiting for insurance to approve the medication, they even gave me free samples and taught me how to do the dupixen injections. They helped me navigate insurance and have been extremely accommodating. Thanks to them I enjoy clear skin today!
They do not take think your time is just as important as theirs. If you have an appointment time make sure to show up 30-40 minutes late then you just might be there 5 minutes before they call your name. I do not recommend them at all.
