I was in a great deal of pain and discomfort with severe hormonal cystic acne. I had an appointment with another dermatologist lined up in 3-months time but but needed urgent care given my level of pain. Luckily, Dr. Yuan was able to take me on as a virtual care patient and I'm so glad I met with her! She took the time to listen and understand what may be contributing to my skin problems and was very thoughtful in helping me consider both immediate and long-term actions. I could tell she has a conservative touch and only recommended treatment that served me. It's about 4 weeks out since my virtual care appointment with Dr. Yuan and my cystic acne has nearly all cleared up! I'm on my skin regime but I am so grateful for the great care and attention she provided me. Dr. Yuan is a 10/10 and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Joyce Yuan is great! She’s done several Mohs surgeries for my dad, including very sensitive areas on his face, nose, lips, and arms. The results have been incredible — even with literally hundreds of stitches, the scars are minimal and not noticeable at all. She’s not only highly skilled and precise, but also kind, and professional. My dad always feels comfortable in her care, and we’re so grateful to have found her. Highly recommend!

I am a surgeon with a history of melanoma twice and needed to find a new skin cancer specialist when I became dissatisfied with the thoroughness of the dermatologist I was being followed by. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Yuan. She was recommended by my oncologic surgeon as someone who is highly trained in cancer surgery. I was very impressed by her credentials and where she was trained. I have been examined by dermatologists every 6 months for over 30 years and as a physician know what good care looks like. Dr. Yuan is the most thorough dermatologist I have experienced. Her bedside manner is exceptional as are her communication skills. The office is well run and the staff are excellent. My whole family sees her now and I am so confident in the care we are receiving..

I consider it a privilege to comment on the professional and personal attributes of Dr. Joyce Yuan who i a recent addition to Dr. David Sire’s dermatology practice in Fullerton. Many of us have depended on Dr. Sire for over fifty years for top notch dermatological treatment and have worried about that treatment when Dr. Sire decides to retire. Well, our fears are unwarranted because Dr. Yuan has the training and experience to deal with the real nasty stuff that Many of dealt with for most of our adult lives. Dr, Yuan puts one at ease immediately and you learn quickly that you don’t have to worry whether she has the time to listen to or treat your concerns. Her connection with others in the diagnosis and treatment of skin Cancer is terrific and I know from over a year of treatment that I’m going to receive the best available. She and the rest of the staff are five stars for sure.

I have been seeing Dr. Yuan for the past year and a half and I am consistently impressed by the exceptional care and professionalism provided. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was welcoming and efficient, creating a comfortable environment. Dr. Yuan is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to my concerns, explaining treatment options thoroughly and answering all my questions. I recently had an excision procedure performed by Dr. Yuan to remove a small lipoma from my right cheek, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The procedure was done several weeks ago, and I’m happy to report that the healing process has gone smoothly, with excellent results. Dr. Yuan is incredibly conscientious and attentive throughout the entire process. She not only ensures that her patients feel comfortable during the procedure but also follows up to monitor progress and answer any concerns. What stands out the most is her dedication to patient satisfaction—if I wasn’t completely happy with any part of the treatment, she was more than willing to work with me to meet my expectations. It is a true pleasure to write a review for Dr. Joyce Yuan. About six months ago I needed Mohs surgery to remove cancerous cells from my inner ear & forehead. Throughout these months I have seen Dr. Yuan frequently as several follow up visits were needed for both surgery sites. In summary, I highly recommend her for the reasons below. Dr. Yuan is highly competent & experienced. Her specialty is Mohs surgery. My inner ear surgery required a skin graft for better healing. The procedure on my forehead mattered to me for cosmetic considerations. Dr. Yuan’s care & consideration of my wellbeing were remarkable. Her confidence projected onto me; I was not anxious, nor did I worry about the results of either surgery (they were fantastic!). She is precise in her work & with her words. She made very clear what to expect during my visits, how to approach after care at home & when to come back for follow ups. Did I mention that she is very kind? If you are looking for a top notch dermatologist, please consider Dr. Joyce Yuan. I am seriously hoping that she will be my dermatologist for many, many years to come. Thank you, Dr. Yuan.
