I'm really disappointed with this dermatologist's office and strongly recommend avoiding them. I had an appointment for my toddler and called ahead because of a traffic jam caused by an accident, and they said it was okay if I was within the 15-minute grace period. I arrived within the grace period, but the nurse said I’d have to wait until the next opening—about an hour and 15 minutes later. I explained that I couldn’t wait that long since my spouse was caring for our newborn, but they didn’t listen. I ended up having to cancel our visit. I hope they work on being more understanding and flexible for families in difficult situations.

Second visit for my husband with Terry Henges PA today. He is thorough and kind. He goes out of his way to explain what he’s seeing and cautious in his treatment to ensure nothing is missed. Today, nurses Mitchell and Dawn assisted and they were excellent. Previously, nurses Dan and Brian were equally excellent. Only one nurse has been disappointing - appeared disinterested in concerns and care being provided. Can’t recall his name, but he is quite inferior to the outstanding care provided by Dan, Brian, Mitchell and Dawn. This is truly the best dermatological care we’ve had in years.

Very quick and professional appointment. I was able to get an appointment quickly because of a cancelation, however my partner experienced some similar problems as other reviewers with an appointment being made then rescheduled months in the future. Very hit or miss but I would suggest that people make an appointment no matter how far in the future and look out for cancelations. The actual patient service during the visit was excellent.

I got an appointment ok and nursing staff friendly and reassuring, however the rest of the appointment was one of the worst ever with any dermatologist I've seen. I didn't even get a full skin check which is what I was there for and I had to point out the ones I was concerned with. The doctor wasn't concerned with any of them and was ready to walk out of the room when I showed him another one which he did agree that one needed a biopsy. He never looked at anything with the scope. I got a numbing shot but he came in and cut it out before I was numb!!!! He didn't even listen to me when I told him I'm not numb yet. He was rushing so much during this appointment like he just couldn't wait to get out of there. Never again. It's hard enough coming in for an appointment and trying to be vigilant with my care but makes me not want to ever want to walk in another dermatologist office again.

I made an appointment but a few weeks before my appointment I had something come up. Couldn’t get another one for about 6 months. Took the one for 6 months in the future. That appointment was canceled because "dr. will not be in office," they were not nice about it either. They made me another appointment for about six months in the future, July. I was given a message today that "dr. will be out of the office on that day." I can’t even call back today to talk to someone or leave a message because it’s Saturday. I have light skin and I make sure I take care of my skin. Very disappointed in Vanderbilt derm. Will need to find someone else, with no help from them I’m sure.

I have been trying to see one of the Dermatologist for over 9 months and when I finally had a confirmed appointment I was given wrong directions 4 times by different people. when I finally got to their office I was turned away and they told me that I could be seen and they couldn't make another appointment. I am so mad and frustrated with the whole thing. The office staff didn't seem to care about helping me instead they was more interested in their conversation with each other. What happened to trying to take care of someone who really needs help with a medical problem?
