Dara Spearman MD

I have been seeing Dr. Spearman for several years now, never have I ever experienced an issue! She is an amazingly attentative, patient Dr. I wouldn't go to anyone else for skin care. Dr. Spearman has had several "students" that she has brought into the room while I was there for an appointment, she takes the time to "teach" them and not talk down to them or just do the job. I always leave there, feeling assured that I have chosen the best dermatologist, hands down. I have highly recommended her to several different people. I have to say, while posting this review, I am reading all these other reviews, I just don’t understand some people’s viewpoint. I have not experienced a long wait to get in to see her, maybe the "initial" appointment to get in might be a bit longer than someone might typically hope for, however people forget that new patients take more time and are scheduled certain days/timeslots, due to being a longer appointment. As for her staff, I have never experienced any of them being short, or rude. Needing a referral, well that is an insurance requirement I would say, most insurance companies won’t just pay for something "we as patients" just want to claim we want/need done. The whole credit card on file thing I read, WOW! Maybe to cover her as a Dr. She does need to be paid as well, and I think if people read statistics, medical debt is high in America. That said, I can understand why Dr. Spearman would require this. I have never been forced to give an actual CC; I use my HAS card for my file. All in all, I rank Dr. Spearman a 10! Thank you, Misty

I have tried and tried to schedule a appointment with this doctor and her front desk assistant will not do there jobs, it's like they don't want her to make her money or something. I don't understand why work for someone and Not willing to do your part. I have all the correct insurance for her to accept me. It's always you fake secretaries with something going on the inside that makes it hard for others. And then you want to play dumb like you don't understand what happened. Oh please God sees all. It's a shame grown ups are worse than children. This should be investigated ✅✅✅✅✅✅💯

Dr Spearman was amazing!! She removed a mole on my nose. I was not expecting it to happen same day. She stated she knows how long it takes to get an appointment and wasn’t going to make me schedule another appointment- so appreciate that!! Her assistant was just as great!! Super friendly and personable! 10/10 recommend!!

I think Dr. Spearman is a wonderful person and doctor. She has always proven herself to be very knowledgeable and empathetic to her patients. I have received excellent medical advice from her and I think she is an excellent referral source for my patients with dermatological problems. The wait time to see her is probably the best testament to how great of a doctor she is...everyone wants to see her!!!

After receiving a referral for my daughter, I called the office multiple times to make an appointment. I left messages and even spoke with the staff. They would not schedule her until they spoke with the doctor. Still awaiting a response. I’m a Parkview doctor and can’t get the right care for my daughter even after a referral and my attempts so good luck! Followup: I did finally speak to an office staff member. Essentially they said to seek care elsewhere.

October of 2023 we visited this office for the first time. #1 who requires a credit card to be kept on file in a doctor's office. Doctor seemed to know what she was talking about was hands off. After numerous phone calls to try and get refills and questions answered we are no longer going to return. Staff is extremely short and not friendly. Went to a different dermatologist to get a 2nd opinion and my husband was extremely over medicated

I recently scheduled an appointment with Dr. Spearman, she was so pleasant. She educated me on all my concerns regarding my chief complaints. She was patient and genuinely concerned to help decrease my frustration regarding my health. I will always recommend Dr. Spearman to anyone who is seeking a dermatologist. Thank you Dr. Spearman for all you do to improve patient's lives.
