Dermatology Clinic-Springfield

I am SO displeased with my experience, for so many reasons. First, they were really difficult to work with schedule wise. I ended up going before work one day and gave myself plenty of time, despite having an appointment and bringing in all the forms already filled out to save time, I still waited for about an hour and a half. When I was finally seen, my dermatologist was very cold and unfriendly, she would not listen to anything I had to say. She seemed to want to get me out as fast as possible. She didn't examine my skin, she barely asked me any questions, the ones she did ask were almost entirely irrelevant to my specific situation! I'm an esthetician, so I know about skincare, and it's pretty sad when I'm more thorough about my clients skin health and history than a dermatologist who's giving me chemicals to put on my face. She didn't give me ANY information on the EXPENSIVE medication she gave me, it hasn't worked and I could be using it entirely wrong or with conflicting skincare products but I have no idea since she didn't explain to me at all what it is or how to use it. When she was finished she just walked out, leaving me to escort myself out and find the lobby alone, she gave me no instructions as to if I needed to see the front desk or pay for my visit or anything! she didn't even hold the door open for me! Finally, a couple months after my visit I received an outrageous bill for my visit, by the end of the week I had already been charged a late fee!! Really?! They cashed my check a month after I sent it and now my account is negative. All in all, this was the worst experience I've ever had, how they still have patients I'll never know but I will never go back there.

Terrible scheduling, waited on hold for 25 minutes today and this isn’t a rare experience. Every time I have called it has been 15 minutes + and the call ends up being canceled!

Really sad that Dr. Richterich retired, because he was so wonderful, the new guy, not so much.
