Dr. Jay Kang, M.D

My stomach looks like a child did it. I have been mocked and put down for the way it looks. It's NOT my fault! I did the work, lost over125 lbs. Now I hate my body. I definitely do not recommend this surgeon for ANYTHING! I just want my life back. It's been 12 years of hell, when will it get better??

I've been pregnant 4 times and was left with an abdominal muscle separation that wouldn't close with physical therapy. It left me always looking 20 weeks pregnant and without core strength. I consulted with Dr. Kang and had an abdominoplasty on dec 11th 2024. He has always been very upfront, honest, and helpful. It's a major surgery and I saw him weekly for follow ups early on plus he addressed any immediate concerns same day (I needed stitches at one point on my incision). He also answered a call on the weekend. Dustin was wonderful, too, and promptly answered my messages through the UPMC app. I am 4 months out and doing well, enjoying the results, and glad to have chosen Dr. Kang.

In January of this year I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Kang and I love my results. He was very knowledgeable, addressed my concerns, and made me feel comfortable. I had issues with anesthesia, none of which was his fault but overall, I’d recommend Dr. Kang 😉😊 only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because no one is 100% perfect so.

Dr Kang was a God send compared to the experience that I had with a surgeon in Pittsburgh. For a little town he is a big man and I appreciate the care that he and his team has given me through one of the toughest times of my life.

Absolutely highly recommend Dr Kang and his CRNP Dustin! Not only does Dr Kang do beautiful work, he and his staff care about his patients! His whole team from the office to the OR staff are incredible! They all helped change my life for the better!

Excellent staff..... office & clinical. Dr Kang is very genuinely concerned with all aspects of the care provide. Great surgeon.
