Ajaipal S. Kang, MD

I've had several procedures performed by Dr. Ajaipal Kang, and he is an excellent physician. He took the time to listen to my questions and concerns, explained everything in a very detailed way, and made me feel comfortable in the initial consultations, throughout the procedures, and at the follow-up/post-op appointments. Moreover, his staff was extremely friendly, informative, patient, and professional. I truly appreciate the level of care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Kang to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and fantastic doctor.

Dr kang did a terrific job repairing my face after a ladder accident. I had multiple facial fractures and crush injuries that were severe. He got me back to looking like myself, which I am very grateful. I had several follow up appointments which he and his staff were kind and helpful. I can’t thank Dr kang enough for putting me back together.

Dr. Kang might be good at plastic surgery (that is yet to be determined on our end) but he is an arrogant jerk. He gave multiple answers to the same question and talked in circles. My daughter and I were both very upset and concerned and felt we had nowhere to turn after surgery.

I highly recommend Dr. Kang, PA Dustin and the entire staff for breast reduction surgery. I am very pleased with the final results. The initial appointment, surgery, recovery and follow ups were all simple, quick and easy. They took into consideration that I live 1.5 hours away and even did video visits when able to. Thank you Dr. Kang and team!

Just want to help other people out there. So I went for a painful cyst said there isn’t anything they can do til the swelling goes down so I left in tears thinking I have to deal with this painful cysts forever I start calling around and here they can inject steroid shots into it to bring down the swelling. Don’t go here if they don’t like you they won’t help you. Totally unprofessional lying smilies . Go somewhere else.

I had a consultation with Dr. Kang for a blepharoplasty. At my appointment he advised me not to get the procedure done because of my complexion. He said I would have terrible scarring on my eyelids which would be far worse than they were and I would be distressed about it. I have seen this surgery successfully done on people with complexions darker than me. He suggested that i only do one set of lids at a time. I called the office at least 10 times over the course of 2 months to get my price estimate. They always told me they would get back to me and the paperwork was "on his desk". They never called and i stopped calling. I have since had the procedure done with another surgeon and have barely visible scars. It seems like Dr. Kang simply did not want to do my surgery due to my race/skin color as if it was an inconvenience for him. This is disgusting behavior especially for a UPMC affiliated Doctor.
