My first visit with Dr. Browning, and the entire staff at UC Health Dermatology Clinic - Cherry Creek, was a wonderful experience. From the minute I walked-in, I was greeted with a warm smile and simple check-in process. I was called back quickly and both nurses were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel at ease. Dr. Browning also came in quickly to facilitate my yearly skin check. With previous medical providers, this has usually been a longer process. Dr. Browning was incredibly personable, thorough, explained what he was observing, and answered all of my questions and concerns. I had a few skin issues with varying levels of concern, and he was able to take care of all of them right away. I really appreciate his candidness and clarity; it was a comfortable and positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Browning and the team at UC Health Dermatology Clinic- Cherry Creek!
I felt very comfortable and well taken care of and all of my needs were fully explained to me.
Dr Browning listened and addressed all of my concerns. I've seen him before and he did a thorough examination.
I have had great experiences here. Beautiful offices, excellent care, and welcoming staff.
Doctor Richard Browning is the absolute best! So friendly and courteous and just an all around great doctor! His surgery skill is top tier and I will plan on seeing him again if needed.
Dr Jacob Whitsitt and staff are Amazing! My daughter has a disability they speak directly to her with kindness and patience! She loves their coffee bar !!
Horrible experience with Dr. Whitsitt My experience with Dr. Whitstitt verify infuriating and left me questioning his compassion and ability to treat people. I went in for a third follow-up visit for dry and irritated skin on my hands. His only concern was if the medication was working and if it was to move to the Shot Dupixent. Not once has he considered that people have standards of what they are willing to put in their body and what type of medications they deem necessary. I expressed to him that I am not interested in an inhibitor/shot and all he did was shrug his shoulders and tell me there is not treatment for eczema. He said I "just have to deal with it." No discussion, no compassion, no interest in helping me actually find relief. He did not make other recommendations as to more gentle products or products geared towards people with eczema. He made no attempts to question diet, environmental factors, handwashing techniques. I had been waiting for this appointment so I did not make an earlier one. Back in early March I had an allergic reaction on my face causing me to get itchy and red all along my jawline and break out in hives. I mentioned that I drank a certain wine and that this had never happened before. Since the occurrence I have been experiencing similar symptoms with certain drinks but not ALL. Again I was completely dismissed and told me it was eczema, rosacea and flushing and that it is because of the hand cream Tacrolimus that its reacting with the alcohol. He did not inquire how many times it occurred, if it was with all types of alcohol and when was the last occurrence. I described to him that it was along my jawline and lower cheek area. He told me it was my rosacea but what he neglected to understand is that I only get red along my upper cheeks. I showed him clear photos of the inflammation and discomfort and the raised bumps that were clearly not acne. I made attempts to ask him to try something to calm down the reaction that it was lingering. Again I was brushed off and basically told pick one. Do you want to drink or have dry hands. No curiosity, no want to investigate, just a cold brush-off. The next day, I saw my primary care doctor, who was shocked at how I was treated. She recognized the symptoms right away as an allergic reaction and prescribed a oral steroid, something Dr. Whitsitt wouldn't even consider. Since being provided with an oral steroid I have not had any symptoms and the redness, itchiness and inflamed skin have all gone away while continuing to use the prescribed hand cream. Patients come in looking for help, answers, and some sense of care. Instead, I got a doctor who treated me like a nuisance. To tell someone "there’s nothing we can do" without even trying is not only negligent it’s insulting. There are providers who care who want to learn and truly help support people in any way they can and then there are people like Dr. Whitsitt. He should be ashamed to call what he’s doing patient care.
