Cara Mia Dermatology is great. I've been several times and the staff has always been super friendly and professional. Getting through the checkin process is so easy, and especially if you take care of it online ahead of time. I've seen both Dr. Demidovich and Dr. Hagen, both are great. I'd highly recommend the Denver Madison St location.

Everyone is friendly and efficient from the front desk to checkout! Dr Hagan is easy to talk to and listens to my concerns. She also is friendly and kind. She is thorough in the exam. Dr Hagan is also a good teacher in how to better care for my skin. Would recommend to everyone!

Always enjoy my visit with Dr Liao! She’s been my Dr for years and I love hearing about her kids.. hard to believe they are now high school, middle school, and elementary. Her assistants and front desk are always helpful and well informed! I’ve referred several friends to her! 🤣

I’ve had a really good experience at this dermatology office for several years. I go for my annual skin check and the staff and docs are friendly, informative, and thorough in their interactions (the latter being the most important since I go there to make sure I don’t have anything abnormal on my skin!). I walked out of there yesterday thinking my office visit was a really good experience, even given a skin check is a not-so-fun exam to have done! These guys are professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I can schedule my exam a year in advance too, so they make it very easy. I definitely recommend them!

Kaitlin always does such a great job! She helps me find the treatment that works best for my skin and executes! Dr. Hagan always works wonders for me! She’s knowledgeable and I can’t say how much I appreciate her steady hand! This is the best team I’ve had to support my skincare journey!

Went for a general preventative visit/skin cancer screening as it is covered in full by my insurance and this practice was listed as in network. The experience in the office was fine, it was a very quick screening (under 10 minutes I was in the exam room). I received a bill for a copay, which I was not expecting, and my insurance advised it was because the billing department did not code the visit as preventative. When I inquired with the billing department they informed me that as a business practice they do not code anything as preventative. Seems sketchy and like a way to just get more money from insurance companies. That visit could be described as nothing other than preventive. I wrote in the intake forms making the appointment that I was making the appointment because preventative dermatology was covered by my insurance, again said it to the doctor when asked why I was there, and at check out when they said they were were still processing my insurance and I said it should be covered since it was preventative and there was no mention that they "don’t do that".

Dr Hagan is lovely—she’s calm, professional, personable. Unfortunately there was a male medical assistant (scribe) who made me feel uncomfortable during my skin check. He was immediately forward, too interpersonal, and asked to stay in the room during my appointment, adding "don’t worry, I won’t look." He also started telling me about the biopsies I will "probably have to have" and how they’re performed before I had any diagnosis or skin check performed, pointing out the frozen lidocaine. When Dr. Hagan came in and began the skin check, he was positioned in such a way that he certainly could see what was going on… and I could see he wasn’t only staring at his clipboard. Additionally, he was asking me a round of personal questions during the appointment, and when I went to leave, he stopped me in the hallway and asked me a few more. I thought he had stopped me because he had to check me out / take the copay. But no, he was just waiting there for me. It was the kind of thing that, as a woman, I felt I had to be nice to him though he was making me feel uncomfortable. I thought, "He’s just being friendly… doing his job…" but with a few days gone by since my appointment, it still feels weird. I get the sense that he’s been this way with other patients. I found the other staff to be all wonderful, and I wonder if he is a new hire or if they haven’t been made aware yet of his behavior. Writing this because I don’t want others to feel the same as me leaving a routine medical appointment.
