Dermatology Consultants of South Florida

I went to this office. Had a fine experience with the Dr who spoke with me. He prescribed me with some foam medication. I rarely use the foam but the good news is I got 6 refills with the prescription....at least that's what I thought...After going months till I had to order another bottle, I reached out to the pharmacist to get my 1st refill going.The pharmacist declined my inquiry. Seems like Dermatology Consultants of South Florida would not green light my 1st refill because they wanted me to come back in and get looked at again? Why, you ask. To get my copay and to ding my insurance again. Bad form by this office and I will not be using them again, and as you can tell I would not recommend them either. To many options for dermatology down here in South Fla.

I arrived here this morning for the first time with Dr.Bibi and I had a great experience with him and his staff. Everyone was nice and Dr.Bibi was amazing. He answered all my questions and led me in the direction I needed to go. So for the bad reviews, don’t believe everything you see. Especially on google. As a nurse, he was professional, and efficient. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews and went. I will be back soon! Thank you! Happy Halloween 🎃

Í scheduled an appointment with this office and 45 minutes later I had not been seen by Dr. Eli Saleeby. I went to the front desk for the second time and asked when would I be seen and all they said was the dr is behind but you’re next. I cancelled the appointment and the office manager decides to come speak with me. She openly discussed what I was being seen for in front of other patients, and she was not speaking low. Thankfully, it was nothing extremely serious, but it’s still my business. She then tried to refer me to their other location, and it’s simply a no for me. Yes things happen, people get a little behind but respect my time. I’ll never return or support this practice.

Dr. John Hoffstetter was the doctor I saw 3 weeks ago with a breakout in the center of my face with red itchy dots. I brought all the products to the office with me including Retinol that I was prescribed. He stated that I was simply having an outbreak and why I wasn’t using the retinol every night . He said take Doxycycline and Also keep using the retinol since it’s for acne but to use it every night now. 3 week later and my face was an absolute mess. I stopped using the retinol 3 days ago and my face is finally healing. He had one job and he was too lazy to realize that I needed to stop using the retinol and was having Retinol Dermatitis. Instead he told me to use more of it. I won’t ever be going back here again. Careless service to say the least!

Hidden cost, no one wants to explain anything, they lie about what my insurance can cover and not cover. This place only wants ur money, my insurance told me to go here to get my treatments done, I set up an appointment talk to the staff and everything is good and they said its covered. But when I go then the staff want to charge me $300 to get something that is covered fully by my insurance. All they do is upsell, upsell, upsell. I went to different dermatologist and they were able to help me WITHOUT LYING OR TRY PRESSURING ME TO SIGN A CONTRACT THAT WOULD VOID MY INSURANCE COVERAGE AND MAKE ME PAY $300 OUT OF POCKET Reported to the FBM.

Dr. Seliger and her team are the best! The doctor is very professional and experienced with a very pleasant and comfortable personality. It doesn't get any better - thanks!!

John Hofstetter has amazing bedside manner. He was so friendly and courteous, and did not rush the appointment whatsoever. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He made me feel very comfortable. My only complaint is that the office was a little challenging to find. It said Suite K, but you actually have to enter further back, and the signage was not clear regarding where the office entrance was located.
