Staff is nice. Dr. Colette L Caputo is great

It was my first time going to a dermatologist and I absolutely recommend this place. I was able to schedule a time that best fitted w my work schedule. The staff were so welcoming and the wait was not long. Dr. Colette was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my concerns and make recommendations based on my needs. Very attentive staff. Such a great experience.

Unfortunately every single time I call this place I have problems. The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. If you don't know how to deal with people then don't answer the phones. A few times okay. But this happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. for years that I have been going there. I am done. I love Collette but I am taking my money and health insurance elsewhere. Learn how to treat your patients. This is so frustrating.

The person taking my initial information was rude; the rest of the staff was very nice and the physician, who didn't even botter to give me her name, answered my questions in a vague way (the way of those who don't know what to do or don't know how to handle 'defensive medicine')... but suprinsingly agreed to a culture for tinea /fungus. Theres a cheaper, faster, reliable option for this test , but apparently they 've never heard if it or wouldn't miss a chance to overcharge my insurance with unnecessary expensive cultures. I hope I'm able to change my review when the test result comes (2 weeks ), and also hope the Dr. says smtg useful - instead of quoting the 1st Google result or sending me straight to another specialist (usually an allergist)- like she did to my husband. We went together (my husband and I ) for the first time and were equally disappointed. By the way: Their website or the Aetna plan says they do allergy skin/patch tests ***but they DO NOT***.

My family has been patients here for 7 years. Dr. Colete is wonderful! She takes her time, has a kind disposition, and cares about the health of her patients. She is knowledgeable in many ways! Recently, she saw my two-year-old in the office. He had a treatment done. But within 24 hours I felt that he needed to be seen again. She saw us that next morning and made sure we were all taken care of! We are thankful to have someone like Colete Caputo near us!

Would not recommend to anyone. Upon entering the office service was extremely poor. Once in the room, the physican assistant Colette Caputo came in, appeared to be in a rush, with a negative attitude, was in such a hurry to get in and out that she did not numb the area prior to the procedure and refused to answer any questions once done storming out of the room. This experience at any level or for any service was disrespectful, unacceptable and disgusting.

Never even went because the lady who was taking my information to be seen was beyond disgustingly rude! She asked me what was the reason for the visit and as I told her there were two reasons and as I was explaining the first reason she cuts me off in mid sentence and says "and the second reason?" And acted like nothing. I said "excuse me that was rude" and she says "oh is that it?" . Almost like she was trying to be rude but try to not let the people around her notice. I said again "that was rude you just cut me off and there is more then one reason for my visit!". She says "oh well I don't need to know all of that". Just like that! It sounded like some old burnt out lady who has no compassion for life in general! Sad because the doctor is missing out on money for some rude bag he/she hired.
