I’ve been seeing Dr. Chacon for almost a year and I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more. She is sharp, thorough, and genuinely invested in her patients. She takes time to understand concerns and explain treatments clearly. I feel lucky to have found a doctor like her!
This woman is the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of seeing in my life. I don't understand where the positive reviews come from but I will tell you my experience was absolutely abhorrent, horrible and did not meet even the bare minimum standard of care for a so called doctor. I called her office for an appointment and was asked if I wanted a 30 minute or 1 hour appointment. How am I supposed to know that? Ironically, she spent all of 3to 5 minutes in the room for my appointment. Yes, you read that right. I arrived at her office at 10:50am am for an 11:00am appointment and was greeted by someone who said she shares office space but she's not her receptionist. She has no receptionist and no one was there to help. It's a weird space that doesn't even look like. medical office. All very strange. I called while I was waiting in the lobby to ask what was going on, no answer. Then she shows up at 11:45 with many patients waiting in the lobby already and nowhere to sit while princess showed up 45 minutes to 1 hour late. She didn't even begin taking patients right away. Eventually she called me and I told her some of my concerns, not all because she was very rude. She made me very uncomfortable because she was on the computer the whole time and not really having a consult. She kept trying to end the conversation and leave the room. She told me about a medication for my condition and said "there are two options" but explained no further. I had to keep asking, as you prescribing both? She just said "Yes" again no other explanation. Do I use both? "No, just pick one". like that the whole time. It was extremely unpleasant. She didn't even apologize for being over an hour late and had the worst attitude and god complex. She spent all of five minutes in the room, half of which she spent scolding me and saying that if I made an appointment I had to keep it and that people needed to be respectful of other people's time, when she was an hour + late!!! I could not believe that she looked at me with a straight face treating me like a child about being on time and respecting people's time when she is shamelessly late, has an attitude and spent 3 minutes in the room. She also spent some time telling me I better made sure I asked all questions during the visit because I couldn't call after to ask any questions at all and I couldn't email either. Ironically, she kept trying to leave the room! So I couldn't ask her any questions. She never explained even the name of the medications she was prescribing, she also didn't explain how to use them or for how long. This woman not have a medical office at all, she is horrible. I am attaching the review request from her office so that there's no confusion regarding whether I visited her office.
Don't do it! Don't even think about it!! Do not put your card information into the area intended for that!. This company charged my card even though I had not attended my future apointment yet! When I inquired about a refund, due to the miniscule amount of interaction we had, I was told I wont be receiving a refund. Their comunication amongst themselves is ridiculous. I emailed to cancel my future appointment and received a confirmation email that the appointment was canceled. I received seven calls in four minutes, including voicemails, and four emails asking if I was planning to attend the appointment. The calls were followed with emails stating I missed my appointment. Sorry to tell ya...no I didn't. I have confirmation of cancelation. Save yourself the money and frustration and head over to Honeydew for all of your skin concerns!! They are the most helpful and accommodating company. I promise you wont regret it! Give them a try and leave this company alone. It will always be here if Honeydew does not work for whatever the reason! But try out Honeydew first! Have a beautiful day!
I had a 15 minute follow up online appointment and was double charged!! The office denied this double charge multiple times, and then admitted to the duplicate charge weeks later. At my 2nd follow up appointment, a credit was to be applied from previously being charged duplicately. Her staff never showed up; I waited 20 minutes past the start time. The duplicate charge was to prepay for this 2nd follow up appointment. I made another appointment for the next night to wait AGAIN well past the start time. Dr Chacon scolded the office staff to be more aware of the schedule and preview the times and offered a messaging appointment for the next session. 2 months later I am being sent a bill for the appointment when her office no showed on me. Stay away, the billing and waiting will cost you more than you initially agree to!!
I had a 30-minute appointment scheduled with Dr. Anna Chacon for my first ever dermatology visit to check my face. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional. The registered nurse who assisted me barely spoke English and seemed far more focused on insurance details than on why I was actually there. She didn’t ask me any questions about my skin, concerns, or routine—just paperwork. When Dr. Chacon came in, she spent maybe four minutes with me. She looked at my face in a mirror, listed several prescription medications using complicated medical terms, and wrote them down without explaining what they were for. When I asked questions, she simply repeated the medical names instead of giving clear answers. As a 15-year-old trying to understand how to take care of my skin, I left feeling completely lost and dismissed. There was no effort to explain, no kindness, and no personalization. The whole visit felt rushed, cold, and careless. Overall, this was a very unprofessional experience, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for genuine care or communication.
My experience wasn’t great. It’s probably best to do skin things in person. Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed and the prescription for the misdiagnosis made my perioral Dermatitis so inflamed that I couldn’t put makeup on for three weeks. Thanks to ChatGPT I figured out that it was a misdiagnosis. I had to pay for several appointments to basically get told I was scheduling for the Wong thing and the window for response is small so you have to keep paying for appointments. I also think the regulations for Accutane for women is ridiculous. And the price. Pay for the appointment, pay for the blood work, pay for the prescription. Every single month. Not super happy with my experience. Thankfully, I’ve already found an alternative.
I have been seeing Dr. Chacon for several months now. I have a disability that makes it difficult to use my fingers on the phone. Dr. Chacon Have never failed to help me get online for my Telemedicine appointment. And all the months I have been seeing her I don’t think I have had to wait at all for my appointment times. Michelle is great at getting the information prior to the doctor coming in. She listens to my concerns and is very thorough in her explanation of my treatment plan. Wonderful doctor highly recommend.
