Dr. Sperber is great. He is a wonderful communicator and is very thorough, and I never felt rushed even though I had many questions. I feel I am being given excellent care. His staff is compassionate and helpful.
This entire office is so clean and everyone on the staff is excellent at what they do! Lennon made scheduling really easy and was very welcoming when I arrived to my appointment. Evelyn helped calm me down before my procedure and talk me through the process. She did an amazing job giving me anesthetic! Dr. Tan is the absolute best! She is so intelligent and really makes you feel at ease. I am about 6 weeks post-op, and my incision site is so minimal that I barely can see a scar. Thank you to everyone!
Dr Marcus has provided superb treatment over two decades to me, my wife and our two daughters. I only wish that all the physicians I’ve seen over my life were as competent and caring as her! I highly recommend her!
I felt so rushed and they kept telling me we can talk about that another time when I wanted to talk about something else. They basically told me to pick one when she came in. I’m sure I’m going to get sent a nice bill for that too which doesn’t feel great. When I left I asked the receptionist how much time is allotted for new patients and how much time is allotted for established patients. 10 minutes. This tells me the office values money more than patient care. I have worked in healthcare seeing patients for the last 11 years. Fortunately, There’s more places to see a dermatologist. ***update. I did receive my bill, total of $351.86 AFTER Insurance. (for 10 minutes of being uncomfortable) I reached out to the billing department to review one of the billing codes. I asked if she could review with the provider as the provider was not transparent during my visit about more charges. (The MA did ask me if i wanted a free full body scan, but i would need to schedule another appt for that. So they do communicate about billing, just not when they are going to charge you) However, when I called the billing department simply to verify that the charges were correct, the representative referenced my previous negative review about the 10 minute appointments during the conversation. I found this unprofessional and uncomfortable, as patient feedback should not be brought into billing discussions. While the charges themselves were valid, the way the interaction was handled reinforced my concerns about communication and professionalism within the office. Just to keep things transparent for all patients, A new patient office visit under code 99204 is $363.86 before insurance. (for 10 minutes)
Helpful and great bedside manners. Seems like some doctors now a days treat you as a number in line and that was not the case with her. She took the time to actually go over concerns and give options.
Care was good and concise. Would be 5 stars if ball was not dropped sending in 2 prescriptions for pick up. Took 3 phone calls to fix and picked them up 24 hours later than necessary and an extra trip to pharmacy.
My experience wth the doctor was fine, and then I went over to the cosmetic side. The girl was very nice and told me about some products, one of which she said the doctor says it's like liquid gold. It's actually called TNS Advanced Serum. It' is very expensive, I think it was around $300 dollars but she said if you use it twice a day, it should last 3 months. I only used it once a day and it lasted a little over 6 weeks. Super disappointing. I called their office and left a message asking someone to please call me back, and that I had a question about a product I had purchased there. No one ever called me back. I guess once they have your money, that's the end of their customer service. 🙁
