Dr. Katherine K. Quan, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Quan and the staff of VSCS for over 10 years. Lived all my life in AZ and I am now reaping the 'benefits ' of baby oil and Hawaiian Tropic tanning. Lucky for me I found Dr Quan and VSCS! She is always professional And caring. And yes needles are painful, and stitches can be painful, but the resulting scars are not noticeable. She does great work.

Please dont ever go to her. Worst doctor I have ever been to. I was diagnosed with skin cancer between my right upper lip and my right nostrel. When I met Dr. Quan for my removal procedure she asked if I had any vitamins in the last 2 weeks. I had stopped a week before. She wanted to reschedule me because of this. I told her I would not have the procedure done if I had to make an appointment 4 months out. She said there would be extra bleeding. I said I didn't care. It was now or never. Once the needles were jabbed into my face. She started carving. After the first attempt she gave me a mirror to show me my quantity of bleeding. I spent 3 hours going in and out of her room to remove my skin cancer. Once she was done, she had done so much damage that she said I had to go to a plastic surgeon to try to repair the damaged. It took 15 needles and 3 inches of stiches to repair the damage. I have never had such a horrible experience in my life. And believe me, I have had several surgeries. Please Do Not Go to this office. I don't want you to go through what I did.

The other review said "Once the needles were jabbed into my face" i could not agree more. She was in thevroom when hercsadistic assistant who wearsca pink smock immediatly started jamming a needle into my leasion with a rapid fire which caused a lot of pain. All her and the dr said was breath deep? This was so deliberate and dr quan didnt even turn around to see what was wrong that i feel this is some sick way of hating on the patientsvor incredible incompetence. Which is a shame as everyone else in that office is so professional. Use anyone but dr quan as her assistant is insane and i think she condones it. Think im filing acformal complaint with the medical board it was that obvious

She has done multiple face surgeries for Cancer on me. She is professional, thorough, and does small stitches which are not even visible after a short time!
