Dr. Janet F. Cheng

She's the best!!! Dr. Cheng takes her time, answers questions and concerns. Not rushing you out of office. Truly cares about you and your well being. I have referred several people to her and they told me finally a great dermatologists!!!

Dr Cheng operates a top shelf practice! Not only is she very knowledgeable, but she takes the time to actually listen! No rushing here.. She really cares about your concerns and goes beyond any Doc I have ever seen to remedy the problem. Also as a real bonus, her entire staff is outstanding. They show compassion and empathy for their patients. They are always friendly. This practice has even followed up with next day calls for my visits! I was treated for rash and hives🔥 Not a critical issue. They still followed up with me. Very impressive. I give it a 10 all the way around. For dermatology in our area there is no other !

I went for an initial appointment for a couple of issues I was having. Although I felt like Dr. Cheng was in a big rush, it was not a huge deal, and I scheduled a follow up appointment. When I returned, not only did I not have an appointment any longer, they didn’t have any of my records. The receptionist said they had changed practice and some patient records no longer existed. Mine were at another practice in Ft. Myers. They somewhat apologized, but blamed it on a computer glitch from their change, and said I would have to reschedule for another time (I had taken the day off for the current date). Since they had no record of me any longer that didn’t make any sense to me. Evidently from the comments of the receptionist I was not the first patient to have this happen to. Due to the fact it is rare for an open appointment somebody should have recognized there was a problem when they had numerous appointments become available. While Dr. Cheng may be a decent doctor, the operation of her office needs to be addressed.

Excellent, professional staff. Dr. Cheng stopped what she was doing to answer questions and took the time to thoroughly explain. Recently moved to Ft Myers but I will not change dermatologists- I drive 20 miles out of my way to see her. My Mom was also a long term patient and we have always been satisfied with the office staff and doctor.

Dr. Cheng is a very caring, knowledgeable, thorough, respectful physician. My husband and I have been cared for by her for the last 12 years. We have referred our friends to her, and they have been very pleased with her care. Dr. Cheng treats her patients with politeness and gentleness. In addition, her nurse practitioner, Crystal, is also a valuable asset to the office, and can be trusted to give great care as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cheng's for nearly three years. I have always been treated with the best of care and concern, and just as important, with respect by ALL of the office staff. The examinations are extremely thorough and exacting. I couldn't be more pleased with the care I have received at Coralwood Dermatology.

My young sister had a severe condition with her skin caused by eczema. She hadn’t been able to sleep for nights and neither had the family. We’d taken her to the hospital 3 times, late hours, in which she saw 3 different doctors who gave different medicines, all of which did not work. The 3rd doctor, an older gentleman said to take her to a dermatologist. My older sister called around and contacted Dr. cheng’s office and she was told that my younger sisters insurance was accepted. We hadn’t made an appointment because this issue was so severe we just took her in Monday morning and arrived well before the office opened (7:30am). We walked in and explained the issue and the LOSER behind the counter with the accent and long hair all she stated was ‘we can’t help you. you need a appointment’. As my sister who has Degorge Syndrome, a disability in which she is missing a chromosome, cried and scratch severely. We practically begged this IDIOT to help and she did nothing and did NOT care nor did she make ANY attempt to secure another office or give references. She just sat behind the counter. As a law student I can’t understand how someone who is supposed to be in the medical field, can turn a blind eye to a potential client in pain. IF I weren’t a Christian I would’ve went behind that counter. She is a disgrace and makes that office look rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER recommend it based on her. We never even saw the doctor. FLORIDA SKIN CARE ON DEL PRADO saw us immediately and the first appointment was FREE. My sister is doing so much better thanks to the staff there and Dr. Brooke. Thank you. CHENGS OFFICE CAN GO TO HELL.
