Southside Dermatology Broken Arrow

Booked an appointment for my son and I in October and couldn’t get in until December. Put in my calendar in phone 11am. I received no reminder text or phone call. Showed up for appointment to a very unfriendly front desk lady to tell me my appointment was at 9:30am and I would have to reschedule. I have been waiting for 2months!! I am not waiting another 2 months so I plan to find somewhere else to go.

Why does this place never answer the phone? What type of office has an answering machine? Tried to call to reschedule and couldn’t get through to anyway to do so. Will be asking my primary to refer me somewhere else.

If you’re coming here for a biopsy or anything serious I strongly urge you to reconsider. I’ll be back to update with names and details as to why. To the owner I’d be careful with your response. We haven’t been to court yet.

I went 6/25/2024. I had some pre cancerous tissue frozen on my skin on my face. Dr Kathy Hung did an examination. She did an excellent job. I recommend going here if you are having any dermatology problem.

Made one appt and it was fine...tried to make a second appt and no one will answer phone. You have to leave a message. I've left four message four different times....no call back. So... I moved on.

Just left there and I will never return. I had to wait over an hour. I literally watched everyone go in for their appointments and come out. People that arrived after me were seen first. I was frustrated by the time they called me back. I could also hear them outside the door talking about how it’s finally the last patient, well without patients you wouldn’t have this position. Patients are also actual people not another number. PA comes in and says, that I won’t like her answer but she could not help me and the facial expressions she was giving me while telling me was off putting. Appointment took literally one minute if that after waiting over an hour without any sorry for your wait or nothing. I am usually laid back and understanding but I definitely see why they have low ratings, especially lately.

I’ve never left a review, but this place is awful! My kid waited MONTHS to be seen. The appointment was 3pm and as every office, they recommended you show up 15 minutes early. We drove almost 40 minutes, hit traffic, and showed up at 2:50. Front desk said they had to check with the Dr to see if they had time to still see us because they were about to leave. Then they took 4 minutes to get back with the answer and said they can’t see her for her 3 p.m. appointment. Supposedly, it’s a policy that if you don’t show up 15 minutes early, then they can’t see you. I have never in my life been told we can’t be seen for an appointment I was 10 minutes early for. Judging by the reviews and the comment about the Dr is about to leave, it suggests a very lazy Dr who was wanting to leave early. It’s fine, I take it as a sign because thankfully my kid won’t be in the hands of someone who doesn’t care. I just want to save you the trouble.
