Dr. Yen is the best ENT around. St Luke's is lucky and blessed to have several outstanding doctors like Dr. Yen. Dr. y is very attentive, listens to patients concerns. He explains the conditions, treatment, etc. He goes above and beyond to make sure patients are comfortable and not just a number. He never rushes the appointments. I recommend him to anyone who may need ENT care. Thank you Dr. Yen for acknowledging my concerns.

I was diagnosed with VCD during a four day hospital stay. Dr.Yen was my follow up to this stay and I was hoping for a solid plan of how to get better & some clarity on what was going on. Immediately upon meeting him, he said that this was anxiety. The reason I can't do more than walk around the house was anxiety. Not the fact that I feel massive amounts of pressure on my throat and it becomes difficult to breathe. Anytime that me or my partner had tried to talk to him about anything, he would speak over us and brush it off. He then decided to scope my nose to show me "look, you're not dying". Not once did it cross my mind that this was a life threatening issue, even at my worst in the hospital. This man does not care one bit about his patients.

It saddens me when I see some of the low ratings. Dr. Yen took over my care after moving here to Bethlehem about 6 weeks after having oral cancer surgery in Connecticut. He has been compassionate and caring and easily compliments my previous ENT for the treatment plan that was recommended for me. I was proactive in finding a doctor before I moved here as recommended by my previous surgeon in Connecticut. I'm glad I was, because it took me 3 months to get an appointment. He is a humble, friendly and caring doctor. It is true that once in his office it's usually a long waiting time. When it's my turn I know that he will not rush me and address my questions and concerns

Dr.Yen did my surgery before leaving the St Luke's office to move to his Bethlehem office. He did a fantastic job and explained everything thoroughly. My issue is, once he left, even though he promised to continue my care, he refused to see me. His patients must now be fully vaccinated to come to his new office. So I set up a virtual appointment. He canceled the virtual appointment because I had missed my last follow up at the St. Luke's office due to being dizzy. He claimed it must not be an emergency and I need to follow up with another doctor now. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Highly disappointed.

Dr. Yen is the best of the best. He's a straight shooter and informative without making you feel overwhelmed. I trust him with my life which is exactly what you could hope for in a doctor. I spent 10+ years with another ENT before finally deciding to switch to another practice. It took Dr. Yen one visit to figure out what the other guy hadn't in over a decade. My surgeries were scheduled after that first visit and a year later I'm so much healthier and infinitely happier.

Wait around for nearly an hour after the appointment scheduled time and zero communication from the staff. When asked no answer l. Find it ironic that there are signs around the office that ask to be nixed to the staff. Par for the course with the medical profession. If I showed up a hour late I’d be charged and the appointment would be canceled.

I would recommend Dr yen to every one very professional, a very caring doctor. My daughter had cancer, and he went out of his way to see her.and to be there for her very good at explaining every thing to us he’s the best good manners very caring felt very comfortable with him and I knew my daughter was in good hands and that made me feel good Thank you Dr Yen. 😊
