Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology

One of my favorite places for keeping myself healthy. All staff are so sweet and inviting and I feel welcomed always. This is a one stop shop for self-care as I can get a massage, chiropractic and my medical care all done at the same place. All practitioners are top notch, take most insurance and so many pluses that make for a seamless happy experience all around.

I’ve been going to Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology since 2019, and this clinic has helped guide me through some very significant health issues, including breast cancer and diabetes. From the beginning, I’ve felt that my concerns and needs were heard clearly and taken seriously. The front desk staff are welcoming, whether in person or over the phone. When they’re busy, they thank me for my patience, and whenever I leave a message, I receive a call back in a timely manner. Also, the medical assistants are professional and very personable. I feel fortunate to have found Kirstin Curtis ARNP and the rest of the practitioners at this practice. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and take the time to understand me and my situation. On more than one occasion, when my insurance company didn’t approve something Kirsten recommended, she found a workaround so I could still receive the necessary diagnostic testing, treatment, and care. I can’t emphasize enough what a relief it is to have this level of support. I’m truly grateful for the attention and dedication I’ve experienced over the years.

I’ve been coming to Mt Shuksan for years. Kirsten and her team have always provided compassionate and quality care. They truly care about the patient experience and it shows. Thanks for all you do!

If you are a trans person do not go here, they use unethical policy and procedures to deny trans people hrt if they engage in activities they deem "too high of risk" even though a minor amount of research can prove that there is little or no basis for these beliefs, these policies also lead them to engaging in patient abandonment because they give no other avenues of attaining hrt either through emergency supply or a referral to another provider, they have little to no knowledge about hrt or trans people and their mental health To the facility: please do more research and learn about your patients' actual needs and engaging in patient led care

I have a lot of anxiety about seeking medical care, but Michele Ingram immediately put me at ease. She took the time to really listen to me, and she did a wonderful job of educating me about the issues I’m navigating without talking down or shaming me. I felt truly seen and cared for. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit, which I’ve NEVER said after a medical appointment. Thank you!

This place is a scam, they will set you up with a "meet and greet" with a new practitioner, then charge you if you have to reschedule. Take your business elsewhere. Charging people for a handshake to introduce who you are is atrocious. In it for the money. Look at the previous 1 star review, looks like I'm not the only one. Response to there response. I never signed any paperwork nor was informed of anything up front. I was told I was just meeting with the new practitioner to be introduced, that was it. Bad business model.

I love the help I’ve gotten here and the staff are amazing. I also go to the massage business next door, which I believe is affiliated. I’m so happy there is a clinic full of helpful women.
