Frontier Dermatology (Bellingham South)

I’ve worked in Health care all my life….have been on both sides of medicine. With out any hesitation I would recommend Frontier Dermatology. Actually, if it were my family or friends I would insist they go to Frontier Dermatology Dr Doherty and his amazing staff are 10 star. They all truly care about their patients. Go the extra mile to help us. He came in on his day off to do my procedure. What more can be said. I had been going, to the recently closed, Peace Health dermatology office for my annual exams. When their office closed, they referred me to Frontier Dermatology and I chose Dr. Yang. She found a mole "she did not like the looks of" which turned out to be positive. Do not hesitate to go to Frontier Dermatology they have an amazing team of doctors that work smoothly together.

My experiences recently have been mixed. After a melanoma surgery, some swelling and clotting had to be addressed. Dr. Doherty stepped in and did an excellent job of taking care of the issues, and everything seems to be proceeding positively. I have been a patient of Dr. Doherty’s for a long time. If it were not for him, I would go elsewhere. He knows and prioritizes me as a valued and long time patient. He’s especially informative, thorough, and sensitive to the patient’s needs. It is quite obvious that he puts the patient first. Thank you.

Very happy with service and care provided. But … -finding the place is a chore. No signage on the exterior door through which one must enter to get to the stairs to get to the second-floor office. -parking is a chore. Aging parking lot needs new striping and wider berths for modern cars (sorry, I drove a big car). Was very nervous about how close I had to park to the cars next to me.

I have high praise for Dr. Yang and Alex whom were both stellar in their care and expertise during my skin cancer check-up of last Friday. Dr. Yang is incredibly professional and extremely knowledgeable in the most remote subject matter. She diagnosed my skin condition on my feet and ankles in nanoseconds where as two cardiologists and my PCP couldn't offer a diagnosis and told me to where compression stockings...which as it turns out, does not have any effect or benefit with my condition.

These folks are warm friendly and extremely informative. The office is uniquely designed and welcoming. Overall an excellent experience.

Dr. Doherty has a no-nonsense way of communicating and with procedures. I thoroughly enjoyed my little surgery even though I am a baby with needles.
