Customer Reviews
Frontier Dermatology (Bellingham Central) has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 325 reviews on Google
I was delighted by the friendly staff and the doctor was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things. I had some concerns of a skin issue that might be cancerous and was happy to learn it was not. The treatments I received took care of my skin issues. The office name is now Frontier Dermatology and is conveniently located in Bellingham.
I saw Dr. Hecht for a couple of cosmetic procedures. She was very kind and pleasant. However, I got the distinct impression that my business was neither appreciated nor welcomed by Frontier Dermatology. They rescheduled one appointment twice within 24 hours notice. Each reschedule was about 2 months apart. For another appointment they called me the day of the appointment to asked me to come in an hour early. I agreed thinking I would be seen an hour earlier but was kept waiting for a full hour without actually having seeing Dr. Hecht. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected by Frontier Dermatology for wasting my time and money waiting without explanation or apology.
The clinic switched ownership in Oct '25. During this time, according to one of the people working there, a prescription was put in for me accidentally. It was a mere $26. Nonetheless, I didn't order it and didn't want it. I called numerous times. The last call I placed, I spoke with an "Audrey" or maybe it was "Aubrey". By this time, I was very upset that the clinic decided to take zero responsibility and refund me. Audrey/Aubrey LAUGHED at me as I explained in anger how many times I had called and still had no resolution. She spoke over me ( I'm the customer ) and claimed none of them ordered it and to check with my debit card company for a refund. ARE YOU kidding me? My insurance company said we never send you a random prescription- we only send them when PROMPTED by the clinic. TERRIBLE experience. Last step was apparently a higher up manager was planning to call me. NO CALL. Its not about the small $26. It the principle of charging me for something I DID NOT order. Not impressed with this company. I think Audrey/Aubrey needs some serious additional training. Imagine a company that argues over $26 and ends up with a dissatisfied client. Unhappy clients tell more people about a poor experience than satisfied ones. I would AVOID This place.
Very disappointing service. I scheduled an appointment for 11AM, and arrived 10 minutes early to complete the requisite forms before my schedule appointment. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time and went up to the front and asked them if I was mistaken about my 11:00 a.m. appointment. I was told they were running late and they would be done soon. I waited another 7 minutes and went back up and let them know I needed to reschedule at this point because I didn't have enough time now to hold this appointment and get back to work. The receptionist I dealt with was put off by this and then yelled back to the dermatologist that "he's rescheduling" in a tone that made it seem like I was doing something wrong. If I respect your time enough to arrive early to take care of your forms so that I can be ready for the appointment, the least you can do is let me know if you're running late. Not 5 minutes or 10 minutes late but 27 minutes late. I don't understand the complete lack of professionalism at this office. I've had great experiences with their office off of Cordata parkway, and I'll have to go there from now on apparently.
This place is fine. I’m here for mohs, and both of the waiting rooms are getting BLASTED with direct sunlight… are they trolling us on purpose??? I do my best to stay OUT of direct sunlight
I recently went here for surgery on my toe after a mole biopsy showed some dysplastic cells. I was so scared, but Dr.Deborah and the nurse were so kind and caring. I felt so valued and cared in their presence! They made all the fear go away and assured me I would be alright. When I had concerns two days after the surgery because my toe hurt so bad, they got me in that morning and checked out the area—I was all good, but they again comforted me and gave me further guidance and care! If you want to feel cared and comforted and have faith you will be taken care of — come here!! I love this place so much!!!
Excellent, compassionate care. Deborah listened and responded to my concerns. I felt comfortable with her. All the staff were friendly and helpful and very patient answering questions. Five gold stars to all!
