Overall a very positive experience. A persistent condition that I have been dealing with for decades. 4 treatments in one month and showing dramatic improvement already. Now just rescheduled another follow-up appointment.

Absolutely Exceptional Care — Best Dermatologist — Dr. Carla Bauman and her entire team are truly outstanding. I had been trying for a long time to obtain Dupixent, which I needed due to my severe, full-body eczema and which also helps control my severe asthma. Dupixent is an extremely expensive medication (around $4,300 per month) and is very difficult to get insurance to cover. During my appointment, Dr. Bauman asked incredibly detailed, precise questions and immediately identified exactly what was needed. She clearly dictated critical information to her nurse so her team could proactively work with my insurance company on my behalf. Another major dermatology office at UW Medicine was unable to help me obtain Dupixent at all — the difference in expertise was night and day. Not only that, but Dr. Bauman completely resolved my severe eczema. I had been miserable, and within one week it was completely cleared, with noticeable relief within just one to two days. She even provided two sample doses of Dupixent directly in her office, along with prescriptions and very clear, step-by-step instructions on what needed to be done to secure insurance approval. She knew exactly how the process works and how to navigate it successfully. Her team handled everything with my insurance without requiring any involvement from me — and incredibly, I received full approval for Dupixent at absolutely $0 out of pocket in less than one week. Dr. Bauman is exceptionally good at her job, and her team is equally outstanding. Because of this, there is a long wait to get an appointment — do not let that discourage you. Get on her schedule. If you need quick relief, you can see another dermatologist in the meantime, but make sure you come back to see her. You will not find a better dermatologist in the Seattle area. Vio is an amazing and talented nurse practitioner, who has been treating all my cosmetic wishes for a few years now. She will listen to my concerns and then she will map it all out on my face. Vio will go over the placement of my Botox and filler and explain to me why she will be injecting (or not injecting) into these areas to create a lift in my cheeks, soften those deeper fold lines around my nose and plump up my lips just a bit, She will never "overdo" my cheeks and lips, always ensuring me that I will look refreshed, a bit younger !!!! My filler…. will also have all my friends and family asking themselves "why does Trish look so rested and refreshed"? Scratching their heads, wanting to ask me about my make up. Wanting to ask me what color and brand name is my lipstick? Vio is truly the most talented, experienced nurse practitioner in all her cosmetic procedures! Highly recommend her!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this physician, Dr Bauman. Surgical team lacked sufficient depth to handle extenuating circumstances of my case. I experienced an adverse event post surgery with long term impacts. Surgeon did not have proper equipment for a medical case. The room was set up for beauty treatments not medical surgery. Upon grilling, I was told that one surgeon does more medical cases and the other more beauty. This, I was not told before. I heard the surgeon speak in an annoyed tone to staff about my wanting clarification of site before surgery. Definitely a prima donna vibe. Surgeon also complained of politics DURING the procedure to me. Totally unprofessional. I happened to disagree but felt intimidated to speak. If this is the best skin doctor in Bellevue, it is time to evolve care. This had the vibe of a washed up practice at its prime ten years ago....

I have been with Bauman dermatology for years for my skin cancer screening, my provider is Dr. Reid Masters. I am very satisfied with Dr. Reid Masters, he is knowledgeable, explains well things, and always does a very thorough examination. Ah, and he is a very nice person as well. In addition, the office is very efficient and friendly, I strongly recommend them.
