Skin and Cancer Institute - Bakersfield (California Ave.)

I saw Alan and he was so nice. He let me talk when and listened. It was a consult so I didn't really have many questions, but he did answer them. He was kind and talked things through with you. The MA receptionist was so nice, I didn't get her name but she was sweet and talked kindly to you. The MA who roomed me was great as well. The place was clean and so were the rooms. I did cash pay which wasn't expensive either. Not quite sure what cash pay would be for different procedures, but I would definitely be going back so they can get my situation fixed.

Dr. Carmelo was very attentive and compassionate. He took time to explain my daughter’s condition in detail, listened to my concerns, and clearly outlined the next steps. I appreciated that he gave me the information I needed and allowed me to decide on the treatment plan without pressure. Excellent care.

Everyone that worked there are very professional and friendly. I will be returning in a month so we will see how that works out. The dr Diaz is very knowledgeable in his field. Thanks to all the people looking forward to seeing you in 4 weeks.

Doctor Misty was amazing! Top notch very professional and through! I had MOH surgery and I have no complaints. Great personality and caring as well! The staff was awesome as well, from the receptionist to the assistants helping the Doctor! Highly recommend!

I was there for the first time today, for an appointment for my son. Easy to find the place. Once there, the ladies at the front desk were helpful and we didn't have to wait too long. The doctor and nurse were also very helpful.
