So glad after researching options I found Dr Waqar. She is fabulous, did my small surgery left no scar and is super friendly. The doctor books out way in advance but it's so worth it if a removal is not urgent matter as mine was. When I needed to get into the practice later for a small matter they fit me in very quickly with one of the PAs Victoria Delessandro who addressed my concerns vs uconn who had no clue. The practice is very clean,the wait time is minimal and all the staff is super professional.

I have been patient here for many years and so have my sons when they were younger. Dr. Waqar really helped them with their inherited acne problems and they have beautiful skin as adult men. The staff is always kind and helpful and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for skin health.

I booked a follow-up appointment at this location since it was closer to me than their South Windsor office. Booking an appointment was quick and easy and I was able to get in within two weeks. They respond faster via their text messaging portal. I also had an issue with a prescription and they were prompt with sending a new one to my pharmacy and with rescheduling. This location was large with plenty of parking. The entrance is on the other side of the building on the first floor. The waiting room was spacious; checking in was easy and I was called in about 10 minutes. Then the clock kept ticking and ticking. My appointment was at 5:30 I didn't meet with the doctor until 6:10. The meeting was for only 5 minutes since my issue was already resolved. She apologized and said that they were running late due to a procedure. 3 stars for the wait but 4 stars for the service, toggling between 3.5 and 4 stars. Overall, I like them as a dermatology practice and Dr. Waqar was friendly and knowledgeable.

The front office staff is very welcoming and kind on your arrival, making you feel at home. And the medical staff is professional, highly competent and so very personable. The experience has been very positive and although the reason for the need for treatment was unfortunate, I have to say that I always looked forward to coming in to the office because the experience was so positive. This is an exceptional medical practice.

I had a great experience. I went in for a minor concern and I was helped by very efficient and pleasant office staff; making my appointment and checking in was very easy. The clinician who saw me was quick and efficient in examining me and educated me on skin health, prevention, and how to appropriately monitor the area I was concerned about.

It was easy-in, easy- out. The check-in process used little tablets instead of those dreadful clipboards and multi-page paper forms. The staff was great.

From the front desk to the medical assistants to the provider, every single person was exceptional. I recently transferred from another dermatology practice after some bad experiences, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Maria, the provider, took the time to truly listen to my concerns and had outstanding bedside manner throughout my visit. If you’re searching for a new dermatologist, I highly recommend Farmington Valley Dermatology. The experience is seamless, professional, and they genuinely care. I would switch here 1,000% over again.
