Dr. Bushore was very helpful. He immediately took care of what we could in one session and planned a return once I had finished up my next major surgery. Unfortunately my work switched insurance providers and I was told this practice does not accept United. I would recommend finding a dermatologists that won't reject you on insurance alone.

Grossly indifferent and utterly unprofessional! Staff. Have these growths on my scalp that I’m concerned could be cancerous. Contacted this provider to ensure that they take my Advantage plan. Was put on hold for almost 10 minutes while they checked. They assured me they did. Had my Primary Care Physician (PCP) arrange and get approval for appointment with my insurer. BALCONES calls schedule appointment, only to call back to advise" they were out of network and would I be paying out of pocket. How incompetent to NOT KNOW whose insurance one takes. Now I am forced to find a new provider, and go back to my. PCP, and have them get new approval. It will inevitably mean delays of over a month while I don’t have an answer as to the nature of these growths. They didn’t even offer an apology, just utter indifference!

Dr. Bushore is one of the kindest and most empathetic people I've ever met in my life. He truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond for them. The staff he has the same qualities. I moved from Austin last year and I kept Dr. Bushore as my Dermatologist and drive back for my visits, that is how priceless him and his team is to me.

I’ve been seeing Dr David Bushore for years for acne. I have hormonal fluctuations that cause intermittent cystic acne throughout the year and he has always prescribed doxycycline and topical meds. Recently, I went in for Fraxel laser treatment to treat some minor acne scarring and hyperpigmentation and I love the results! I am only 4 days post-treatment and I already see a major improvement with more improvement (collagen-building) to come over the next couple of months! Dr Bushore is always so knowledgeable and takes time to explain the treatments to me and answer any questions I have. A lot of other docs have made me feel a little rushed out of the office and like they’re too busy to talk me through things. However, Bushore is always very personable and takes his time. The office attendants are so sweet and thorough. I have never had to wait long for a call back or to get an appointment. They always greet me with a big smile. I am so happy I discovered Bushore. I have recommended him to friends all the time. He’s a great doc and this is a great clinic! Thank you, Balcones Dermatology!

The office was very friendly and on time. Dr. Bushore has a great bedside manner and he addressed each of my concerns efficiently and professionally. I liked that I was given a dollar total for each procedure before they were done so there were no financial surprises at the end. I would highly recommend Dr. Bushore and his office for your needs!
