During my husband’s skin cancer journey, we’ve had an opportunity to work with Dr. Gee, Dr. Collins, and Dr. Arffa. We have been so pleased with all three of them. They are all professional, yet friendly and explained everything to us in ways we could understand. Dr. Gee diagnosed the cancerous spots, then Dr. Arffa and Dr. Collins both performed Mohs surgery on my husband’s face at different times. During the procedures, they both explained what they were doing, and why it had to be done. Once the surgeries were completed, we were given written directions that told us how to take care of the surgery sites. We are amazed by the fact that neither surgery left a facial scar due to their expertise. Both my husband and I continue to go to Austin Skin Smithville for all of our dermatology needs and do not hesitate to recommend them to all of our friends.

Scheduling as a new patient was easy. Was a little anxious going in for a regular ‘skin check’. All the Staff & Dr I interacted with were very kind & put me at ease. Loved the ‘goody bag’ provided with some info about the Drs and the samples of a few recommended skin products - and no hard pressure for additional products or services.

I’ve been a happy patient in this practice for over five be years. This week I saw Dr. Keefe for a skin check, and I could not be more pleased with how I was treated. I came of age in the era of baby oil for sunscreen, and so need regular screening with a dermatologist who pays close attention. Dr. Keefe took great care with my screening and treated a precancerous spot. The practice provides cosmetic procedures, and unlike other practices I’ve used, they never try to upsell. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. All in, simply a wonderful practice.

I cannot recommended Dr. Keefe and her team enough. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, every interaction was positive. The staff made me feel comfortable, welcomed and in good hands. They were knowledgeable and thorough. I will never go anywhere else!!
