Forest Dermatology Asheville Office

Our experience at Forest Dermatology is been fantastic. Once in the door the receptionist makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Each staff member fully explains the procedure and they too help you feel comfortable and relaxed. The facility is extremely clean and brightly decorated. First all of this and then as we arrived home we received a wellness phone call. That in itself put Forest number 1 in our book! We definitely will continue with Forest and make sure family and friends as well as posts on Facebook know how appreciative we are of this business. Thank you Forest for making the day a great experience.

I have been a patient of Forest Dermatology for several years, and I can highly recommend the entire staff, with special commendation for Dr DeSousa. He is the best Mohs surgeon in western nc, and I have tried a few. I can’t say enough good about this practice. Highly recommended

I have the highest recommendation for Forest Dermatology and Dr. Sousa. He and his staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and caring. They treat their patients like family and their skill is exceptional. Dr D calls his patients personally to check on them following surgery.

I was treated with utmost respect, kindness, and in a timely manner. My physical & emotional comfort were important to them. Each step, treatment and aftercare were thoroughly explained. Both doctor and nurse were skilled, professional, excellent at their jobs and even followed up later by phone to check on me. Totally good experience all the way through.

I had not seen a Dr. there since the pandemic, 5 yrs. A brown recluse spider bite got me to go back and a basal cell was found. MOHs surgery 2 days ago by Dr D'Souza upstairs from the main office but still part of the group. Nice, nice man along with Josh his nurse and all the staff, esp desk staff. Everything explained. Very smooth experience. Dr D'Souza called me himself the next day to check on me. Amazing group. Highly recommend. For a dr of his skill and education, he is amazingly humble. A rarity these days. Treated like a queen.

I would highly recommend Forest dermatology. Dr. D’Souza is amazing, very attentive, professional and explains things thoroughly. He even personally called that evening to check on how I was feeling.The entire staff was remarkably pleasant and efficient throughout my visit. My nurse, McKenna was friendly, pleasant and professional. Hopefully, I will not require additional dermatology surgery but if I do… I will definitely go see Dr. D’Souza again!

From the moment I walked in the office, I felt cared for and important. They made a nerve racking experience pleasant and peaceful. Josh, my nurse, was considerate and informative. He told me what to expect every step of the way. Dr. D'Souza had wonderful bed side manner and is a master surgeon. I appreciate the phone call from the doctor himself that evening to check on me. I highly recommend them for Moh's surgery and am grateful to each person in that office who assisted in my care.
